Score from 290 reviews Good
Excellent hotel. We had a large, spacious room which was extremely comfortable and very well furnished. Staff very helpful East taxi ride or bus into town, which was about 20 minutes walk away. Food in both restaurants extremely good.
Nothing to dislike
Second time to stay. Dinner was fabulous. Breakfast was great as well. Starting time of breakfast was 6:30 AM which makes us easier to make a schedule.
I hope the shower room were more wide, but no difference from European standard actually.
rural location and very friendly staff. good breakfast. room was clean and tidy and a reasonable size.
other hotels in the city offer equal facilities at a lower price in a more convenient location. although breakfast was good 6.30 was the stated time and even at 7.00 some things were not ready.a minor point but if you are on a tight schedule. the bathroom shower was of the wet room principle with the shower doors pulled out to give sufficient space to shower, requiring folding back in to use the wc.
The food and service was excellent
Finding the swimming pool - signs needed to be clearer
Excellent breakfast.Staff forgave my awful German.Loved the BBQ.
Upper rooms got warm.Minor issue though.
Extreme little sunshine due the overwelming many trees.
- The big and delicious breakfast - The pool area where you could take a refreshing bath after a hot day in the summer.
- The lack of ac in the room - Not many places where you could sit out in the evening. There was almost only the restaurang area.
The staff could not be more helpful, when it was raining they even offered us an umbrella, the facilities were great and the bus service was right outside
We only stayed one night, but the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the bed was comfy.
It is quite a bit outside the city, not great if you don't have a car. The room was a bit warm and there is no fan to get the air moving.
Location and brewery
Very slow service and staff not attentive
very helpful car park man
Clean, quiet. Rich and tasty breakfast.
Weak wi-fi. Far from the city centre - you should move only by bus, taxi or car.
Clean and freshly decorated bedroom. Great food in restaurant. Own beer very good. Staff helpful and attentive.
Some of our devices unable to connect to WIFI in bedroom.
The room was lovely. The price of the food and drinks were reasonable. My partner enjoyed the speciality beer.
It would have been nice to have had patio heaters to have enjoyed the garden later. Menu was not as traditional as we would have liked.
Blesius Gartens was fantastic, the room was roomy and extremely clean. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant was great. Dominic? in the restaurant was so helpful. We loved the microbrewery beer it was an added bonus. Would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Germany.
Nothing, only we didn't stay long enough.
location in the middle of nowhere even if the bus stop is in front of the hotel...
Professionelle Mitarbeiter, unbedingt im Restaurant der Hausbrauerei essen! / Very professional staff, having dinner in the in the restaurant of the hotel's microbrewery is a must!
A gem of a Hotel, a peaceful luxury well worth more than one night. Efficient, multi-lingual and pleasant staff throughout the hotel, made us feel like valued guests. We arrived mid-afternoon, mid-March, and were already able to enjoy a local beer in their Beer Garten, and local it was, as this establishment has its own Microbrewery on-site! My husband and I enjoyed some more with a local rustic dinner, one of 2 or 3 restaurants on the premises, which was being partially renovated. The list of beers brewed on site helpfully shows the % of alcohol, in case one needed to know… The rooms were delightfully comfortable, with a bed I’d like to take home with me… and first class linens and bedding. Bathrooms roomy and with all expected amenities; In the Breakfast room, an inviting and tantalizing buffet was displayed for all tastes; worthy of a mention: Gluten-Free items, a “Honey Bar” with 3 kinds of nectar to pump into individual bowls, Champagne, etc. Also, coffee is served all day from an ornate Samovar in the main lobby for guests’ pleasure… it’s the little things, you know… they all add up to a most pleasant stay. Just before we left, our kind waitress offered to take our photo, which was most appreciated!
The upside-down squeeze soap dispensers in hotels, they are not only hard to operate for someone with arthritic hands, but are most unhygienic, when you think about it! The non-touch ones would be more appropriate for such a high class establishment, or at least the little individual bars of soap one used to get (my only complaint at many hotels!)
We have stayed here several times. The breakfast is excellent. We ate in the bar in the evening and had a very nice meal for less than a comparable meal in town. Plus of course the beer alone is worth the trip. Car parking is simple, there is a bus stop just outside the hotel to get into town. We got Trier cards which covered transport, discounts on a number of things and not that Im obsessed but they also cover a beer in the hotel.
Helpful staff and delicious food.
nudity in the swimming area
Reception and in the Rustic restaurant service was great, food was great. Breakfast was fantastic and the lady working in there really cared about our customer satisfaction. My husband really enjoyed the beer. The survey is a little difficult as I am young and my husband is old, to respond to your first question.
1.Staff - very friendly, competent, effective, helpful. 2. Restaurant - above all measures! The chief is excellent - our compliments. 3. Comfort and charm - in spite of some remoteness from the historic center (meanwhile there is a city bus). 4. The pool - not very big but anyway pleasant.
An excellent location for visiting Trier, helpful staff, a very good restaurant and good beer brewed at the hotel. The rooms were a good size and clean. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Free parking and a good bus connection to the centre of town, it was also possible to walk there in 15-20 minutes. We would stay there again!
On the first evening we had a neighbour who had trouble hearing the TV, we didn't.... apparently the walls aren't that well soundproofed. Also the rooms were very warm and there was nothing we could do to get the temperature down except open the window, which got us back to the noise problem when a group of loud guests departed.
My 2 children age 11,10 enjoyed their swim each morning after breakfast. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and good coffee. Lot of choice for dinner in 2 different restaurants. We chose the beer garden as more suitable for the kids. Great location, where in 5 minutes you can be walking in the winelands and a 20 minute to the ancient amphitheater (kids favorite ) , then from there 5 minutes into town. There was no problem for parking at the hotel. Bus stop outside hotel was very convenient at the end of a long day sight seeing but watch out for the last bus.
Hotel is a bit run down. At night could hear the people walking around in the rooms above. Also rooms were very warm. A pity the wireless didn't always find a connection. But all that didn't really bother us, we still enjoyed our stay.
