It is a nice small hotel in a little town few kilometers away from Freiburg city. The only noise that we had was from the town bell tower, a nuisance difficult to get rid off in Germany. The hotel is very convenient for travelers with a car, 5 min from the Autobahn 5, it could be a problem to get around without a car.

Very nice place where you'll feel like at home. Opfingen, the town where the hotel is, has losts of good restaurants and the train and bus service to freiburg is good and cheap. The staff is excellent. Rubi, the owner, who is always there, is very nice and always ready to help. It is a highly reccommended place to stay.

We travelled Germany for 2 weeks in a group of 3 and this was the best place we stayed at. Great value for money, excellent staff and the rooms were new wih stone bathroom bench tops, wooden finishings, fresh linen and flatscreen tv. The location is close to frieburg, black forest and the Rhine. We had our own car but I saw buses running. The town has lovely restaurants open until midnight every night. Breakfast in the hotel was fantastic and great value for money - bakery fresh breads were tops. We needed some washing done (being the end of our travels) and the owners were more than helpful in providing such a service (not a regular service for this hotel). All 3 of us highly recommend this hotel to anyone. The room doesn't have a bar fridge, but there is a 24hr big fridge in reception to get a wide variety of beverages (alcoholic and non- alcoholic) plus snacks!

Die Angestellten/Chefs sind sehr freundlich. Sehr hilfreich bei der Ausflugs-Planung. Ein herzliches kleines gemütliches Hotel. Es wurde nicht immer 100% sauber geputzt. Uns hat es nicht gestört wir sind da nicht so pingelig.

מלבד היות המלון מעט מרוחק מהעיר הכל פשוט היה נפלא!!!! במיוחד המנהל הראשי של המלון מגיע לו 10 אדם מקסים יעיל שרותי ואדיב אבקש לתרגם המשוב לאנגלית ולהעביר הלאה.

Piccolo hotel tranquillo e pulito, personale cordiale e pronto a dare idee e suggerimenti su visite nell'intera area della foresta nera, non solo nella zona vicino Friburgo. Non tutto il personale parla inglese ma cercano comunque di mettere insieme due o tre parole e farsi capire.
