El edificio del hotel y su historia

The hotel was noisy, very old, badly kept and very uncomfortable...

The welcome and helpfulness of most of the staff

If you are a cyclist this is not a truly bike friendly hotel. Although most of the staff were very helpful in organising a place for me to put my bike not all of them were as pleased to see a bicycle as others.

we enjoyed the ambience of the hotel, the piano in the room and the gregorian chant

Lack of any noise at night and the fienlieness and helpfulness of the staff.

It might have been nice to have the facility to make some refreshments in the room such as an early morning cup of tea, but this may be unusual outside the UK

What an truly unique experience staying at this hotel is! Absol. the best.If you have reservations about shared Bathroom-don't have ! Clean as a pin,and if anything ,it adds to the atmosphere. And what a location..a few doors ,only from the most beautiful boulevard and direct walk in to the city. Thoroughly recommend staying at this Hotel. Dont forget to check out Helmet Newton's studio.

Location of the hotel which was very close to the bus stops and the train/subway station resulting in great ease of travel within Berlin city. Staff were most helpful and converse very well in English.

Beds a little old and creaky. Starting time for breakfast at 0700 hr is a little late for some who stayed there, including us

En god og fornuftig morgenmad med rigtig god og hurtig service. Sengene var gode at sove i. Hotellet fremstår som et ældre sted med knirkende gulve og højt til loftet. Vi havde værelse til gaden og kunne selvfølgelig høre trafikstøj, men det lagde man ikke ret meget mærke til.

Kamers zijn gehorig; de gesprekken op de gang kun je woordelijk verstaan.

Camere abbastanza silenziose e pulite, personale riservato e discreto. l'hotel gode di una posizione strategica già di per sè , ed in più sussiste la comodità di avere nelle immediate vicinanze varie fermate di metrò ed autobus per raggiungere i punti turistici , i centri per lo shopping e luoghi business di maggior rilievo.

Le camere danno l'impressione di essere un pò spartane (c'è solo l'essenziale) ; è un albergo sostanziamente datato , lo si può notare ad esempio osservando l'arredamento delle stanze , le scale ed i corridoi. Le TV in camera , le prese di corrente e gli altri optionals sono carenti e obsoleti, ed a volte nemmeno funzionanti ; insomma , non guasterebbe un bel restyling.

In günstiger Lage habe ich zu einem vernünftigen Preis ein gutes Hotel gefunden, das ich gern wieder besuchen werde.
