Lack of any noise at night and the fienlieness and helpfulness of the staff. It might have been nice to have the facility to make some refreshments in the room such as an early morning cup of tea, but this may be unusual outside the UK |

The quirky nature of the hotel with an interesting history, very different from the chain hotels. Staff very helpful. Interesting location. Loved the Gregorian chants filtering up through the central well. |

Everything. I did not expected such a nice, lovely, attractive hotel. I do like the retro mood decoration. Located in a little bit snob and safe quater. The cleannes is perfect. The breakfast too. |

What an truly unique experience staying at this hotel is! Absol. the best.If you have reservations about shared Bathroom-don't have ! Clean as a pin,and if anything ,it adds to the atmosphere. And what a location..a few doors ,only from the most beautiful boulevard and direct walk in to the city. Thoroughly recommend staying at this Hotel. Dont forget to check out Helmet Newton's studio. |

Everything, the building and Yva's history was of particular historic interest, staff were wonderful!! Expensive internet, used internet cafes instead. |

Location of the hotel which was very close to the bus stops and the train/subway station resulting in great ease of travel within Berlin city. Staff were most helpful and converse very well in English. Beds a little old and creaky. Starting time for breakfast at 0700 hr is a little late for some who stayed there, including us |

It is only that the hotel is near a shoping street. The hotel was very noisy and all the sounds are transmitting through the walls.Floor produces noise too, because was covered with wood. |

breakfast/ clean towels each day but only if you requested There was some confusion about paying (and the amount) on leaving at 5.30am. The night staff did not know if I had already paid or not, and had no record of your 'offer' price and calculated my bill at their 'normal' rate. Fortunately, I had a print out of my email booking confirmation which clearly showed the 'offer' price, which is what I paid. |

Personeel erg behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk, 1 x keer geen schone handdoeken gehad en na het melden stond men binnen enkele minuten aan de kamerdeur met een schoon setje Internet op de kamer erg duur 8 euro per uur of 13 euro per 24. Gelukkig kan je to de receptie gebruik maken van hun computer om de mail even te chechen |
