A good position for people vissiting the Messe Essen. Railway and metro/underground convenient.Staff friendly and helpfull but communication problems with other than German people. Restaurants and bars closeby.

Ease of checking out 1St room had terrible drain smells in bathroom - changed to a 2nd room This was ok - clean though the aged decor & carpet, despite clean, it had the feeling of unclean. My partner got a flee bite during night and this may be coincidence though we somehow weren't surprised. 3 star rated - felt more like 2 star Apartment room had no kettle so we boiled water using a saucepan There was approx 20 empty beer bottles in one of the wardrobes & 2 full bottles in the fridge - what was that all about. Also a large approx 2 metre long black divider cushion in the room leaning up in the corner? What was that there for? Shower hose had a split so water sprayed out on hose before getting into shower head Satisfied with our stay and nothing worth complaining about - just more like a 2 star compared to other 3 star rooms we've used

10/15 minute drive to essen centre. Clean, comfortable and value for money. Car park gets a bit tight, but street parking is plentiful and as safe as can be.....

Almost everything was ok and satisfactory. Many ppl in other reviews are lamenting the quality of the breakfast. I found the breakfast adequate. The shower had some small problems but nothing unbearable.

We just stayed at the hotel overnight en route. Staff are very nice. As a family of 5, we booked a double and triple room which were separate from rest of hotel (private entrance and hall). Bakery across street.

It was a nice hotel for business purposes. Quick stay and go on. Breakfast and the room were fine. Nice hotel overall. The surroundings, the area for a nice drink in the neighbourhoud is not that pleasant in the evening. You have to go to the centre.

Zimmer mit Teppich ausgelegt. Dieser stark verdreckt, v.a. viele Haare von Voraufenthalten, Krümmel unterm Bett. Herausgerissene Telefonsteckdose unterm Schreibtisch. Hotelgebäude selbst an stark befahrener Straße. Möglich, dass die Zimmer im Bungalow hinter dem eigentlichen Hotelgebäude schöner sind. Hätte bei dem Preis Jugendherbergsniveau erwartet. Selbst dieser wurde von Ausstattung und Reinlichkeit nicht erreicht.

Zimmer sauber Zimmer hellhörig, Möbel uralt und bunt zusammen gewürfelt, Matratzen durchgelegen, Badezimmer noch aus Oma´s Zeiten und muffiger Geruch, bei geöffentem Fenster Straßenlärm von der Hauptstrasse deutlich zu hören, erinnert eher an eine Jugendherberge...dafür etwas zu teuer.

De kamers waren erg ruim en netjes. We hadden een driepersoons- en een tweepersoonskamers en logeerden er maar voor 1 nacht. Toch waren we erg tevreden, rustige buurt en aardig personeel. Het ontbijt was karig.

er was niets aan te merken aan dit hotel,het krijgt op alle fronten een goede beoordeling.Ik had twee kamers geboekt, en kregen ze keurig naast elkaar. Met openbaar verver waren we zo in het centrum van de stad.Ook het ontbijt buffet was zeer goed van alles voldoende,zeker een adres om nog eens naar terug te gaan.
