Hotel Eden - Am Hofgarten  

We especially liked the location of the hotel. Strategically located near the Bonn Hbf, city center and also just a few meters away from the river. Pleasant walk! Very pleasant hotel...nice rooms...garden and offers free WiFi (only Euro 1,00 for connection). Clean place....pleasant clean smell! For folks who want to be near the center, good price and nice hotel: we'd recommend this place. For folks who like to have a decent breakfast: perhaps not (see below)

The hotel staff when we arrived (late evening) was really helpful and kind. Different matter with the day staff. It would be great if the staff would be friendlier and would smile more! The hotel is quite a nice cozy place....a pity if non-smiling staff and abruptness would put off potential regular customers. Also thought that the breakfast was .... repetitive and unfortunately, was not stocked well. Breakfast is until 10am - if guests come down anytime after 9:30 - BEWARE....you won't have enough bread or egg or whatever mmmm breakfast they offer. Would be great to have the staff/owners stock on food so that even if folks arrive 30, 20 or even 10 minutes before 10:00....there's still food for late stragglers (especially folks on holiday!).

Breakfast was very good. Staffs were very kind. There was a big garden in front of the hotel, my kids enjoyed playing there after the breakfast.

The staff was very supportive and very helpful, the location is very suitable to enjoy all the city activities very good choice

No lift

It is a picture-perfect traditional German hotel. Everything is pretty (curtains, tableware, napkins) and very comfortable and convenient at the same time. Great view of a garden/park on ether side of the hotel. It's location is perfect - facing the park, 3 min on foot from the U-Bahn station and 5 min on foot from the centre. Looking forward t staying there again on my next trip to Bonn.

We were so very pleased with this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was plentiful. The location was fabulous - close to everything and on a beautiful park. Our windows looked out into the branches of a chestnut tree. We could easily walk to the train station or catch the bus to the airport. Within 5 minutes was a choice of many restaurants or cafes, museums, shops. We liked it so much we booked in for another stay in three weeks!

The location is very convenient, especially if you don't have a car as it is located right in the heart of Bonn. We especially enjoyed the friendliness and kindness of the staff, and more so because they made us feel at home. Great hotel that I would recommend and certainly warrants another visit from me.

The only issue was parking, although the hotel offers a nearby parking for 8 euro's a day.

The staff was incredible. You felt as if they knew you right away.

Very friendly, attentive and welcoming staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfst in a friendly room. You can reach Bonn centre in a couple of minutes by food.

My room was a little bit noisy as the road beneath was very busy. No kettle in the room to make tea or coffee.

Very good quality/price relationship. Perfect ubication. Have very good breakfast and free internet. The best of all...my room has a balcony with chairs...very nice!

Great location, 5 minute walk from the train station. Nice staff, great room with a balcony. Close to the historic district and dining. Room clean and comfortable. New HD tv's and wireless internet in the rooms well as a computer available for use near the front desk.
