Modern styling, water bed, helpful staff.

Free wireless internet, and free breakfast (excellent!). Hotel is designed in a very interesting shape, single room is not too small, very bright room. Overall it's quite worthy of money.

In small details could be more international. For example I forgot to bring power adaptor with me, but in the hotel there is only one kind for British people in Europe. However mine laptop is with tw/us plug, and shops closed really early. So I suggest to prepare more international power adaptor.

The staff,the breakfast (because many of Berlin hotels do not offer breakfast with the price of the room),free soft drinks (hot and cold) for the guests down in the lobby,free Wi-Fi connection and the closeness to the U-bahn.

The pillow was uncomfortable on the first night but that was changed when I asked the staff. The window side in the bathroom was not cleaned properly and there was too much dust (something I would not expect at a hotel like this). You had to enter the password for the Wi-Fi connection every time you wanted to access the net instead of the system registering you device from the first time.

Special request for more pillows not fulfilled. Parents were given the ordinary room while our sone got the comfort room-----very loud and noisy room servicing early while we were still sleeping...furniture bumped into the wall and doors slammed disturbing our sleep between 6 am and 9.30 am....noisy vacume cleaner etc. Shower from 513 leaked badly into bathroom even with door closed.

Stayed in room with waterbed which was very comfortable. The breakfast was really fantastic.

Not enough choice on the restaurant menu, too many dishes with spagetti, but the food that was there was good.

The hotel has a convenient location relative to Tegel airport. You can find free parking space in a nearby street. The breakfast is good. Still, the hotel barely deserves the four star status.

The personell at the reception appeared rather bored and served slowly, but offered us a room with water bed for the standard price. This presumably was due to the lack of other non smoking rooms. The smoking is a terrible problem overall in hotels in Germany, the enforcement is non existent and this disfavors non-smokers.

As an English speaking person I find the language is not a problem at all. The service is good especially the quality of the food such as the breakfasts, dinners etc. Also the room is a lot of space than those rooms in London, uk.

The telephone service is rather poor. The phone set in the room is like a mobile phone not a proper phone, when it rings, no one can hear it! There is no reception person to received the call then to redirect such call to the room, I did miss a lot of calls during my stay.

This hotel is very convenient to Tegel airport if you are renting a car. The location near the lake offers the opportunity for a stress reducing stroll at the end of a long day, and there are adequate restaurants in the neighborhood on a quiet street. The staff was very accommodating in helping us find a parking place for our car (there is no hotel parking lot per se).

Despite requesting a non-smoking room on booking, we were given a smoking room on check-in. The check-in desk did not point this out so we trucked up to the room unawares. In the end, the prospect of changing rooms, and the only mild (but easily detectible) smell of smoke, kept us from marching down to complain. But we should not have been put in this position, and it should have been stated up front on registering.

Perfect for business, quite area.

The restaurant is poor.

I wasn't impressed at all. The rooms are only ok for a short cheap stay without looking at any details. Hotel construction is very strange.
