Whether you are here for a well-earned break with the whole family or are stopping over before attending a conference, the Art-Hotel Erlangen offers an intimate atmosphere and everything you need for...
Score from 153 reviews Good
Had a ground floor room. Huge shower and lovely room. Mini bar. Good free wifi. Very comfi. Friendly staff and great food. Brilliant Price. Loved it!
Bed was very small and pillows very uncomfortable.
Location, the rooms, etc.
It was impossible, with my state of the art portable work station, to connect with Internet during two evenings. Simply nobody cares if the router works or not... In the mornings it was OK. Also, following the instruction for TV, one cannot reach any program. Only trial and error, plus the buttons at the TV set (not at the remote control), allow to start the TV set to operate. During my previous stay I had similar problems.
Cut my hand on the key-box fishing out the key
I got a good deal (€49 for 1person, 1 night) while booking one day before arriving. Room was good, with a 1.20m wide bed, but also a desk and a closet.
Room was next to the stairs, which was a little bit noisy.
style of the room flat screen TV
Parking just on the streets, difficult to find free places. Variety of buffet breakfast could be higher
Overpriced for this hotel.
Restaurant was closed.
Good location close to center
Rooms are very small and tight, unattractive and a bit shoddy. Price 95 euro/night relatively high for what you get. No elevators despite 3 floors.
Only good thing that happened - staff at reception when we were checking out the following morning was polite and friendly.
We requested a double bed, but got two separate single beds. Both uncomfortable to sleep on and squeaked when you turned over. The room had a slight unpleasant smell. Member of staff wasn't very helpful when we arrived. We were given the wrong key to our room. Meaning when we got back from having a meal at night we couldn't get into our room. We had to wait for about 10 minutes for a member of staff reluctantly to turn up and give us the right key. Room not as advertised. No wardrobe or Chester draw; only place to hang your clothes was on two hangers hanging off the radiator. Poor breakfast. Can I suggest the loft room not used as hotel room.
Renovated room is very good.
The aisle floor has a step which almost caused an accident of falling down.
The sheets should be changed more often
Great staff - all set up for a late arrival, even after reception had shut
A little bit noisy on the ground floor by the street
The room is very clean and well-decorated, single bed is also quite big, pretty comfortable. Would stay there again.
Good location. Clean.
Looking at the photos in the description I did not really expect a boutique hotel. And it is not one. It is a classic "lot of years, but ok decorated hotel". They tried to make it a bit boutique by hanging some pictures and making some decoration, but all of this not very special and not with any "own taste".
The decoration of the room was really comfortable
location was quite nice.
price, especially for the single room... 79 euro considering that we`ve booked in advance.
The thing i appreciate most when renting a room is cleanliness. The room was spotless. Safe and in quiet area Two persons for 60 euros, decent room
The windows are practically on streets, lack of privacy Hard to get in the room because of carpet and smallness No air condition, very stuffy room, no air Tha cabel for tv was pulled threw the wall very recklessly..it appears as if they dont care that theres a hole in the wall The room is nice but needs a more modern makeover
Great service Very nice location, close to the town and train station Super helpful staff
A little bit on the expensive side, considering some international chains had almost the same/lower rates in the same area
Breakfast and Restaurant
The price was maybe a little high
very nice and large rooms, nice decoration.
i had to wait outside when i arrived because the doors were locked and no one at the reception. its a nice hotel too bad the staff is a little bit unmotivated.
Very clean, and very helpful staff. Location is perfect in the middle of the centre, with restaurants, bars, etc at close range.
Very loud doors, because all doors have an automatic closing mechanism. So it sounds like smashing the door, every time you close it.
The hotel is close to the center. The room was clean and modern furnished. The breakfast was nice with a large variety.
The standard double room was so small. There is no self care stuff in the bathroom such as earsticks etc.
We got one of the very rare, if not the only one, large rooms. Super spacious, but certain things looked unfinished, like water pipes hidden behind some blinds. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Staff was kind.
