The apartment is in a lovely street in Prenzlauer Berg. We stayed in Opal which had a very nice view onto the courtyard. The area is lively and very convenient for voiding museums and other attractions. We hired bikes and rode everywhere.

This is the best neighborhood to stay in. Architecturally intact and gorgeous, filled with delightful places to eat and shop, an easy walk or subway ride to many desirable destinations, and a perfect human scale to return to when the city's history has overwhelmed you. Simon and his staff know how to make you feel at home. We stayed in the Jade Apartment, which is a short walk away from the main building where the other Units are. All our neighbors were locals, and we felt like part of their community.

Nothing that we couldn't supply ourselves.

Location, many restaurants and cafes, U-Bahn 7 min walking. Lively street but very quiet at night - Smaragd apartment. Very clean and comfortable beds, equipped kitchen. 2 Single beds in the lounge was a pleasant surprise plus a double bed in the bedroom. Babycot was provided. Would definetely recommend

No microwave, and shower is difficult to adjust

It is a great location, close to the Metro and, for bikers and walkers, within biking or walking distance from many tourist facilities. A gentrified area of East Berlin with loads of great cafe's and lovely tree lined streets, an organic grocery store nearby and an adventure playground around the corner. Simon and Elli were very helpful with some articles of clothing left behind. The Jade apartment was lovely with a balcony. We didn't use the kitchen but it was very complete.

We had some communication problems (it would have helped to have heard from them before we left for Europe). Also, the instructions of where to leave the key were confusing (e.g. don't leave the key in the locker, means in the lock - it would have been better to say, leave the key on the counter). There are some inconveniences staying in an apartment (along with some advantages - like a kitchen). The Jade apartment is a 15 minute walk from the host's café so prior arrangements were essential (or you pull your luggage over cobblestones for 15 - 20 minutes!) One other concern is the bath tub in the Jade apartment is very slippery and narrow (so there is no flat area). My husband fell out and hit his head on the toilet. A less athletic person could have been seriously hurt. I almost slipped as well. It needs a mat or anti-slip finish to make it less dangerous.

I think the position and assets are ok, very comfortable place.

The automatic service is not very suitable for us. We think the automatic service sometimes increase the unnecessary production for us.

The Oderbergerstrasse is one of te best streets in Berlin to stay in. Make sure to enjoy it's vividness and liveliness to the max and book your appartment at the front (with balcony) of the building.

Though the appartments are nice, clean and proper, the value for money is slightly on the wrong side. The location is it's best asset.

Really clean, very comfortable apartment in a great location.

Stairs only up to fourth floor. Shower in bath was quite cramped.

Great location. Nice and very spacious apartment

Very poor and slow wifi, old TV. Without HDMI. No washing machine. A bit too basic considering the cost of the fact if someone is renting an apartment of that size they are looking for more comfort and convenience than a normal hotel room... All the problems should be fixed very easily.

Great location, nice street with a lot of restaurants, park nearby, UBahn direct to Alexanderplatz. We had a very good time in Berlin and can't wait to come back. We'll book Brilliant appartments again!

My partner and I stayed in the Gold apartment in December. It was a lovely apartment and we could not fault it. It was a great part of Berlin to stay in - so many great restaurants, cafes, bars and shops within easy walking distance and very close to public transport to travel the short distance into the centre of town.

Brilliant apartment is a typical Berlin apartment in a great location in Prenzlauer Berg. Cafe Krone is a great place to relax with good food (value for money) and very friendly staff.

Great location. Excellent restaurants and shops very close by. Very clean apartment - nice fittings. Service minded owners.

Pillows uncomfortable. Parking expensive (although we did find a parking house nearby which was much cheaper).

The location is just perfect. The street is beautiful and with lots of restaurants and shops. The apartment is lovely and well equipped and you really feel like a berliner. With children is a great option. Fantastic.

The 4th floor without stairs is the only problem... but not a great one!

    Location Clean Comfortable beds

Lack of flexibility - charged 10euros per night for twin beds instead of double bed Cafe Krone (attached to apartments) v expensive - plenty of equally good alterantives locally
