This hotel is housed in a beautiful half-timbered building, and is in a central but tranquil location in the centre of Blankenheim, near the source of the River Ahr.

We offer our guests a hearty breakfast and traditional German cuisine in our snug hotel restaurant. Our staff speak German, Dutch and English, and are happy to give you insider tips, suggestions and useful maps for hiking and cycling nearby. A garage is also available for bicycles and motorbikes.

Renate Group of friends Bad Vilbel, Germany August 9, 2012	Sehr freundlicher, hilfsbereiter Besitzer, gute Lage, gemütliches Zimmer im ausgebauten Dach, Frühstück (Wurst, Schinken, Käse, Ei) wird serviert, Räder kostenlos sicher in Garage unterzustellen, Kaffeemaschine mit allen notwendigen Utensilien im Zimmer, schöner Blick vom Dachfenster, Matratzen gut, sauber Alles natürlich sehr schräg (eben Dachspitze), nichts für größere Gäste, besonders das Bad (Achtung Kopf beim Toilettengang), in der Dusche ein großes, nicht verfliestes Loch in der Wand (vermutlich eine große Seifenschalenfliese ausgebrochen), sehr steile Treppen im Haus, besonders ins Dach (könnte für ältere ein Problem sein), Teppichböden alt (aber sauber), einfaches (aber ausreichendes) Frühstück (nur helle Brötchen, kein Müsli, Joghurt, Früchte), Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt hier nicht Did you find this review helpful?	5.4

Ad Group of friends Oss, Netherlands May 30, 2012	bedden betaalden voor 5 (1 reizende kon wegens ziekte niet mee) maar kregen ontbijt voor 4. Wij zijn motorrijders en dit is een wat meer rust vereisende omgeving. Werden om half 10 uur al verzocht stil te zijn. Beetje 'moeilijk' met/voor 4 vrienden op het terras voor het hotel. Wir waren im Obergeschoss unterm Dach. Die Treppenanlage war eine Zumutung. Der Preis war für dieses Hotel nicht angemessen. Aber auch für die Hälfte würde ich dieses Hotel nicht auswählen.
