It was a really nice, family-run hotel. We were very well greeted and taken care of during our stay. The room was comfortable - clean - and quaint. The location of the hotel could not have been better. |

Beautiful rooms, rooms are large and beds are comfortable. Our room had a stunning view. Staff are very helpful. Breakfast is included, and is very good. Location right in the city walls, which is an excellent location in this town, and an easy walk to everything you should want to see. Parking is very tight, if you plan to drive your own car. There was construction at the time, so this may improve. |

This was a delightful hotel, set up against the city wall of the medieval town of Rothenburg ob der Taube. The room was lovely and had a pleasant view over a small park; you can pay hansomely for a valley view which is also available during breakfast. The Taube River valley is deep woodland and meadow with a few houses and is quite delightful; the town sits above it as does the hotel. The hotel is tucked away and quiet, but close to the centre nevertheless. Strongly recommended. |

The proprietors were exceptionally friendly and helpful. We felt very welcomed when we arrived and during our stay. Our room was well situated, traditional decor with a modern bath. Would have like a few sweet pastries for the breakfast offering. |

Wonderful staff and great location, make this a lovely stay. It is worth spending the extra on a an hour in the spa/sauna room which is first class. |

The staff was incredibly accomodating and our room - #7 - was actually a beautiful suite. Sunset on the patio - actually part of the original town wall- was spectacular. Walking distance to everything but gives you the feeling of being secluded because of the gorgeous scenery out your window. |

One of the best places on our month tour. The large rooms had extra sitting rooms and up to date bathrooms. We will spend much more time there on our next trip. It's inside of the old city walls. No elevator. |

It was the most comfortable experience to stay in this small cozy hotel.Just one night stay but we understood their warmest hospitality. We 4 of us stayed in the room No. 2 and were surprised how large the rooms (living room, bedroom, terrace) were. 1 king bed and 2 large sofabeds. Because we stayed for just one night and had to leave there very early in the next morning, I asked the master of this hotel whether they can serve us breakfast or not. As I was much impressed, he suggested me to take anything we like from their kitchen in the morning and took me there.Beside their nice atmosphere and survices, I was very lucky to find a nice Japanese restaurant `Louvre` in just 5 minites walk that I do really recommend. |

We loved our stay at Silence Burghotel. The family apartment was beautiful, enormous, very comfortable, quiet, clean and well appointed. They were very generous with towels and really thought through the details of a comfortable guest visit. The apartment was in a different building from the main hotel, but was actually slightly closer to the sites, while being removed enough to feel like a retreat. It neighbors the gardens of the closters which makes the view lovely and the space exceptionally quiet. And there is a wonderful fine bakery just around the corner! We loved our stay there. It was terrific for us and our children. |

Absolutely fantastic! Stayed last year and this time was just as good. It is my favourite hotel in Germany and I'm even staying again in a few weeks. The location is fantastic and the views are beautiful from the view over the valley in the breakfast room and from the suite to the little garden and church. The whole of Rothenburg is beautiful and the Burg Hotel is definitely well placed being in a quiet corner but within a few mins walking from everything in Rothenburg. Definitely recommend the Sleeping Beauty suite, I didn't want to leave. |
