I couldn't even call it a "bad experience," but the pool was too short for lap siwmming. However, it is perfect forpaddling around and a little water aerobics after a long day of hiking around and exploring the wonderful city.
The convenience of this delightful boutique hotel just steps from the Neutor, about a three-minute walk from Albrecht Dürer's house, and four minutes from the castle and St. Sebald's Church, is fantastic. It is veery handy to great, off-the-beeaten path restaurants, and close to the heart of the Altstadt. The staff are wonderful, their English is excellent, sparing me embarrassment from trying my awful German. My room was clean, comfortable, and best of all, the location is on a quiet residential street, so I slept soundly each night. The breakfast is extensive and well worth the added cost.
