Burns Art Hotel  

Having a self contained appartment (rather than staying in the actual hotel) gave me much more flexibilit. I could make tea whenever I wished, hve breakfast at whatever time I liked, have friends over for a drink before going out and we could sit in the lounge rather on a bed (had we been in a hotel room). The appartment was cleaned as a hotel would be and it was bright and airy and great value for money. I would thoroughly recommend this property and will stay there again in future.

I loved the location of the hotel. It was right beside the Duesseldorf Hauptbahnhof. As with any trainstation the surrounding street was a bit dodgy. However as we neared the hotel, the area became more upmarket. Its an easy 10min walk to Koenigsallee. From this hotel, it is very easy to find your way around Duesseldorf. I would stay here again if travelling to Duessdorf.

There was only one English channel-CNN.

The rooms are quite different and very comfortable. We had a room on the 5th floor with a great view over the city and a little balcony. This hotel is not a big chain hotel so has character and is in a great old building.

fantastic quality for money, the design of the room and the surrounding areas. Amenities in the room.

Cleaner knocking on our door at 9.45am to see if room was empty.. but nothing major

i could'nt extend one day room reservations in one go of my booking, i had to again book a room for one night that i had to stay. the hotel says there is no way that they can extend one night stay prior to my booking. i kept wondering why?

Burns Art Hotel was close to the city centre and central station. Ideal location and very clean.

The shower didn't have glass doors or curtains so water was everywhere unless you were careful. Our rooms were at the 4th floor and had to take the stairs because the elevator looked so tiny that it was difficult imagining two persons standing comfortably in the lift, let alone 4, which was the maximum number of persons allowed in it. The room felt very hot and I couldn't find any controls to regulate the air in the room. Window couldn't be opened so it felt really stuffy for me the entire evening. No room service.

Good location

Room was terrific, extremely clean and spacious

The noise - both nights we couldn't sleep from noise both outside and inside. It's a pity because it is a very nice hotel, but if I thought I was going to have to endure that noise again I would have to stay somewhere else. I was staying in the apartments which are around the corner from hte hotel and because they are unmanned at night there is no one to control the noise or the comings and goings.

Privecy, Modern and comfort access

Privacy of apartment,,closeness to city centre/old town,pleasant staff,clean rooms with very modern feel,staff were very helpful

Service and staff were excellent

Lift was way too small. Only two English news channels to watch. If you are trying to attract international visitors attending trade fairs you may want access to some English tv channels. I cannot recommend the hotel to colleagues as a result.
