The Hotel Callas Am Dom is a privately managed hotel in the centre of Cologne, adjacent to the world famous cathedral. It is only a few minutes to walk to the city, the arts centre with museums, the Philharmonic, theatres and the opera. Our hotel is situated in a pedestrian mall. You will find several kinds of shops and restaurants. To reach the main railway station you just need a two minute walk.
From the Köln/Bonn Airport shuttle-busses go directly to the main railway station. The International Exhibition Centre *Köln Messe* can be reached in 3 minutes by train or in 15 minutes by foot.

Very good location, right on the walking street in Koln for shopping.

The room was very small and poorly equipped for the money paid. The elevator did not always function correctly.

Friendly staff, silent and comfortable room. 2 minutes from the station and the Dome just in the main shopping street of Cologne.

Conveniently locatated to train station and shopping. Very near the Koln Dom. Good breakfast.

Our room faced the Hohe Street and was extremely noisy both day and night. The room was very warm and stuffy but we had to keep the windows closed to block out some of the noise but even with the windows closed it was very noisy. We would have liked the bathroom to have been more sanitary. There were no conveniences like a hairdryer or shelf in the bathroom.

Convenience and close proximity to all major Cologne tourist attractions.

The noise which it not the Hotels fault as Cologne is a major building site at present and we were there the night Germany played Portugal in the Euro Cup! which was the noisiest of our three night stay

Service was good and staff were friendly. Room was clean and well looked after.

The hotel faces onto a main shopping street, and my room was, as a result, very noisy. Also, the soundproofing between the rooms seemed poor. I could clearly hear the television in an adjacent room (but that may have been because it was just too loud!)

The location is wonderful, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast wasn't fantastic, but there are lots of great restaurants nearby, including Starbucks for morning coffee.
