Quiet hotel in a ideal location that suited the purpose of our visit. The hotel and roof was very clean and staff were helpful and welcoming.
The room furnishings seemed a little dated and could maybe be modernised to look more appealing. But this is not a major criticism
value of money for location
mangy and unclean towels
When I checked in I was greeted by a very nice clerk. Actually all the staff were friendly. Nice experience. Good breakfast, but great coffee. Room was nice, warm, clean.
The value of the hotel room rate. I felt it was a bit high for what the room. But then it was the weekend. I would consider staying again but that depends on the rate.
Good staff reception staff couldn't do enough for you the breakfast was of a good variety can't understand people who moan no not full English your in Germany asked for more pillows and got them and clean towels every day
A bit of a walk to all markets but you can't have everything
There was not aveilble parking spot.
the position of this hotel is very good
wifi is too weak.
Simple but comfortable room, newly renovated, quiet at night, good breakfast
The corridors would need some renovation
Very friendly staff
Location is excellent, only minutes away from Rudolfplatz, Neumarkt and a 15/20 minute walk to central station and the Dom. Breakfast was excellent - great choice - and the hosts were very attentive; you could leave every morning feeling very full! Wifi worked well all the time. Great heating in my room. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here again.
I can honestly say not much at all - my room was rather small, but this was reflected in its price.
Close to center
Mineral water for 4 euros in room and people going to check if we drink it.
Good beds. Great choice and taste for breakfast. Helpfull staff with a great taste of humour at our checkout. Good value for your money. Location is good, close to the city center.
Only 6 parking places available, they were all taken when we arrived. I had to park my car in the way more expensive parking garage of the local bank. Curtains are about 20cm too short.
Good location Very welcoming staff Good breakfast bufet WiFi works well Rooms are small but well designed
Beds were to mellow for my personal taste
- simple - effective
- not worth 70€/night
Everything was really great. Great value for money.
There's a common room for ironing. I'd prefer to have an option to do it in my room.
This hotel is situated in the center of Köln. We really liked the fact that you could pretty much walk to any place. The breakfast was excellent, with a good selection. Would visit this hotel again.
- 10 min to city center - good Wi-Fi signal - Spacious room - Nice staff
- Missing pastries for breakfast, coffee like water - Awful flat pillows - No minibar - bathroom needs refurbishment
Great breakfast buffet; helpful staff; easy to find location.
Breakfast, location, quiet place are the good points
At the booking a room was with one bed (shown at the picture), but at reception they said that all the rooms in the hotel with 2 beds.
Breakfast. Close to shopping after work. Quiet room, so got a good sleep. Ironing board and iron to use. Flat screen tv which worked.
Very small room, but I was only in there to sleep, so not too much bother. Kettle would have been nice. Window too high to see out of. A short person probably wouldn´t manage to open it to get some fresh air.
Clean bedding, good location, breakfast was excellent! And staff was very helpful! Towels were great,,
Did not have Internet, difficult to locate!
Absence of hot tea during the day.
I liked the location, 5 minutes from tram. Breakfast was good. Hotel was quiet.
First and most important, corporate has not address my concerns of my stay. My son & I stayed at the hotel on 15 Sept. Upon arrival to our room we opened the window to air the room, showered & left for dinner. Returning some 4 hours later our room was filled with wasp. I killed 8 of them and took them to the reception to request for a new room. No rooms were available. So we slept with the window closed & the room again was very stuffy. I was awaken shortly by a wasp landing on my arm. It seems I did not kill all of them. I really did not sleep for the rest of the night. In the morning I ask reception for a refund. She was very nice but was along (no manager working), and could not make that type of decision. She took my contact information & said management would be in touch with me. It has been 2 weeks and no one has emailed me or called me. I live in the same country, so a phone call would be very easy. I understand a nest outside of the window can happen, however the night reception told me it was an on going problem & I was not the first. Seems to me the problem could be solved by installing screens in the windows since their is no air conditioning in the hotel. Other problems: hair in shower, light fixture fell off head board, old stains on carpet.
Reservation process, online, was very easy. Room was comfortable. The location was an easy 20 minute walk to the Cathedral and Hauptbahnhof.
