“The location is really good - ca 5-20 minutes to every direction - Checkpoint Charlie, Potsdamer Platz, Branderburg Gate, Aleksanderplatz etc. The appartment is clean and cosy. There´s a little shop(coffee/tea, bread/butter etc) just around the corner and a lovely cafe open from 8.00am next door. Although we were warned that the doorman does not speak english, the young guy managed to explain everything and body language was of great help!”

These modern apartments lie just a 2 minute walk from the famous old border crossing of Berlin, Checkpoint Charlie, right in the heart of the city, close to Friedrichstrasse and the Gendarmenmarkt. The Stadtmitte U-Bahn (subway) station is just a 2 minute walk away, and an 8 minute walk will bring you to the modern and renowned Potsdamer Platz. A truly excellent location,very quiet and comfortable,we were really pleasantly surprised with the Checkpoint inn,its as centrally located as you could possibly wish for without the ridiculous prices of the hotels.i cant think of anything negative to say.We would definately recommend it and would definately stay again.

We have stayed here before. The appartment was clean and comfortable. It is located within easy walking distance of many main tourist atrractions. There are many places to eat close by, as well as the fab shopping on Friedrichstrasse. Would recommend to any couple of any age, as the appartments are very secure as well as placed within an area catering for all tastes and budgets. This time round we had an appartment on the third floor above the beautiful flower shop. Well beautiful when not getting deliveries at 3 or 4 am. Lol. Soon got used to it though and the sight of dozens of sunflowers out on the pavement one morning as we left the building made up for the noise.

this was an appartment not a hotel. the standars was excellent. it was situated in a 'back' house with a balcony overlooking a courtyard. it was very quiet even though only a matter of a few hundred yards from checkpoint charlie and many restaurants. the local facilities included a good supermarket and many restaurants to suit all budgets. it was also near main shopping and tourist areas of mitte. a graet place that we will certainly use again. no balcony furniture! found this odd as there was a fantastic balcony.

La posizione centralissima, l'arredamento nuovo, la pulizia dell'appartamento e la presenza di piccole cose non sempre presenti in altri appartamenti (asciugacapelli, detersivo, spugne per piatti) In reception parlano solo tedesco ma si fanno capire benissimo e non ci sono stati problemi

L'établissement au croisement de 2 lignes de métro est très bien situé pour visiter Berlin et très proche du centre. L'appartement était très propre. C'est parfait pour 2 personnes. Le lit d'appoint dans le séjour avec un rideau qui n'occultait pas la lumière matinale

Locatie. (Betaald) Internet toegang achteraf alleen met aangeleverde WIFI dongle met bijbehorende verplicht-te-installeren software. Niet bruikbaar dus voor niet-PCs zoals iPAD, Tablet en/of Smartphone. 10 Euro weggegooit dus, en veel erger, nog steeds geen Internet toegang voor ons.

Очень удачное месторасположение. Район и сам номер выглядит вживую лучше, чем на фото. В номере есть всё необходимое, включая посуду в достаточном количестве. Температуру обогрева можно регулировать самостоятельно, что очень порадовало после длительных прогулок по осеннему городу.

Checkpoint Charley Inn: schönes Appartment, gute Lokation, freundlicher Empfang. Vielleicht für mehr als zwei Personen das Tafelgeschirr wird nicht reichen. Sonst zufrieden und empfehlenswert.

Die Lage ist prima. Sehr zentral und doch ruhig. Wunderbarer Anschluß an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel. Doorman sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Tiefgaragenplatz ohne Probleme. Ausstattung des Appartements absolut ok. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

De locatie was uitstekend, alles in de buurt zoals lekker broodjeszaak om de hoek voor een lekker ontbijtje. Op 100 meter afstand de metro Stadmitte. Restaurantjes en supermarkt in het gebouw zelf. Gewoon prima... Wij hadden weinig te klagen... Is gewoon prima appartement voor wie lekker van de stad wil genieten en niet te veel luxe hoeft.

Apptment (Dwight) was excellent, lots of light, cozy, nicley decorated, with all necessary accessories and amenities, impecably clean, lan worked really well (2.5 euro per day additional charge), balcony was just delicious, small but perfect place for two to stay. Security of the building on high level, at great location (3 minute walk from U-bahn), if you are going to stay more than 2 days, weekly pass for public transport pays off (27 euro for 7 days, all public transport, day and night within ab zone which includes airports and bus from airport). Quiet, with underground garage, great italian Pizzeria on the corner of the building, bakery near by, supermarket as well - another words, if you need to feel comfortable, safe, relaxed and at home in Berlin, definitelly for recomandation. Fes minor things: central (cealing) lights are small or not existing at all, but there are lamps all around the place to compensate. Beds are bit less firm than they should be for comfortable sleeping, so if you like firm matrasses, maybe they have those in some other appartement (this one is called Dwight).
