The kitchenette was really handy, we like to cook fresh mussels that can be purchased in the town supermarkets
We booked a room with large bed, the fact is the large bed means two twin beds pushed together, very inconvenient
Location. Laundry facilities
Small single beds. Top floor apartment. If weather would have been a nuisance walking for breakfast
A short walk from the centre of Aachen, but just outside the busy part
First and foremost; big rooms, big and just hard-enough beds, close to center city. We didn't use the kitchen but nevertheless this facility seemed to be well equipped. Rich and tasty breakfast at Best Western, a bit expensive.
Stereo and radio didn't work.
I asked for a quiet room and got a very nice and quiet room on the top floor, on the back side of the hotel. The room was very clean, and the little kitchenette is practical, i was happy to find coffee in the kitchenette :D. check out time at 12 o clock was very comfortable since i had a veeeery long day the day before. You have to check in at best western, but the appartments are very easy to find. Staff was friendly. Heating was turned on a little before i arrived, so the room had a nice temperature. The room itself was spacious. I was very happy
The staff is excellent
Extremely clean apartment. Very friendly and helpful staff. Anything we wanted was no trouble at all.
spacious room, very comfy bed, quiet location though very close to centre,
CD player did not work Breakfast (optional) is very expensive
The address, is not correct in the booking confirmation, would be good to notify the guest, if the check-in is in the best wetern hotel.
Location good. Staff helpful. Apartments quiet and there is a lift. Kitchen very small but adequate.
Great location, comfortable and well-thought
Poor cleaning, somewhere outdated facilities, too expensive for the service
Good-sized room with excellent kitchenette. Located in a fairly quiet back street, a short walk from city centre and easy bus journey from main station (don't believe the useless Google Maps instructions on the website which say you can't get there by public transport).
One of the most temperamental showers I've ever encountered, oddly out of keeping with high quality of the other facilities in the room
room is quite big have kitchen close to the central station
a bit expensive compare to the room quality room is not at the same place of reception building Wifi allows only 1 device to log in at a time, and it is even not possibe to log out, needs to wait for something like 10 minutes to let the system log out by itself, totally rediculous
Location superb, spacious apartment, bright clean bathroom. One tiny complaint - we missed having a toaster lol x
No toaster lol
Room size and facilities; close to centre. Underground parking next to apartments was secure and very convenient.
Beds too soft for my taste; could have done with aircon - the ceiling fan was fine most of the time, but a humid day meant it was just moving the air around.
Good location, about ten minutes from the centre of Aachen, with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants in the immediate area. Clean and well-presented. Secure parking. Everything we needed.
Nothing to dislike. Met our expectations.
Plus: + Efficient and helpful reception desk, also open for questions beyond the standard repertoire + Comprehensive binder with all the necessary hotel information (German/English) in the room + Daily cleaning staff, also taking care of the dishes (there is no dishwasher) + Laundry room on the ground floor with 2 washing machines and 1 drier, including soap free of charge + Only 10 minutes walking distance from Dom, Rathaus, Market square and Tourist Office + Direct neighbour of main bus station (Bushof) where virtually all bus lines stop. This certainly is a useful stepping stone to get around + Distance to main railway station (Aachen Hbf) or Aachen West can be walked within 20 minutes
Minus: - Smallish kitchen, needing some time to get used to and to arrange things to make the best of the limited space available. Shortcomings become apparent when slicing bread or cutting vegetables, so be prepared while shopping in the supermarket that there are limitations to what you can put on the menu - Smallish bathroom yet efficiently organised while making the best use of available space, though hardly offering enough shelve space for 2 people and their common attributes - Internet works but it requires some fiddling, dependant on the devices and software you have. You receive a login code for each device you own, all free of charge. Basically very well intended, but some devices pose more problems than others when actually using the Internet facility. Especially when not employing the default Internet browser, you need to re-type the login codes each time you switch it on. This makes Internet surfing not as useful as could be. Eventually, it all works. Moreover, it may be only people like myself with non-standard set-ups having such problems - Missing coffee maker. You get a supply of instant coffee instead, actually not the real thing. Even a standard filter coffee device would be a giant step ahead for mankind (like myself) with a coffee addiction
Value for money, very clean and well equipped and the staff were the best
Address wasn't clear with the apartment being in a road behind the address given
Very good location, proximity to the city centre and all sights as well as to the Carolus Thermen.
The very confortable beds and bed linnen.
The fact that it's got a mini kitchen and the location
There was two single beds and keeps moving apart. And you have to keep re-login to the wifi everytime.
When we went to pick up the keys at the hotel Regence, they offered us a hotel room instead of the apartment that we had booked. Called it an upgrade. So actually never got to check the apartment. The hotel room was decent enough. V.good location to walk into the center, the shopping area or walk to the thermen spa. Hotel staff were quite friendly and helpful as well.
Parking at the hotel garage can be quite tight if you have even a medium sized car. So keep that in mind.
Excellent apartments indeed. My room was large, comfortable, clean. Wonderful receptionists, very helpful. Not far from city centre and Carolus Thermen.
Internet connection periodically terminated. You need to enter login and password every time you want to use internet connection. It was a bit annoying.
