City Hotel Bremen  

It a good location for the main station and the local public transport.

Well designed single rooms for single or groups of travelers. Near transport and the city center. Excellent!

It is only 3 mins' walk from Bremen central train station. My room is quite clean and the bed is comfortable. The shared bath room is good enough for me.

It is a bit cold in my room (April). It is also a bit noisy at night becuase the window is facing to the main street.

The hotel is very central just next to the Bremen Main Train-station and walking distance to many bars, pubs and to the old city center. Rooms are decent sized and reasonably clean. Free WiFi was also available at the reception area.

I (perhaps wrongly) assumed that any room in a hotel would contain an en-suite bathroom and would have only expected a shared bathroom in a guesthouse. Fortunately rooms with a bathroom were available but I had to upgrade my stay. Problem is that with the total charge I may have opted for a different hotel perhaps with better services. Also of serious safety concerns seems to be the lack of stairs from the upper floors, apparently only reachable by a single elevator. Only found an external fire-escape going only up from the 2nd floor towards the roof-top.

The hotel was very close to the train station, so it was very easy to find. It was also very close to the old city of Bremen. It took 10 minutes to go there. The staff was very nice and gentle. Before I went there, I thought that the bathrooms might be a problem because it was not inside the room, it was a shared one. But the bathroom was very clean and I didn't feel uncomfortable.

There wasn't internet within the room. I think this is the only downside of the hotel. I had to go to the entrance hall in order to connect to the internet.

Clear, in the center of the city.

There is no nosmoking rooms in this hotel!!!!! I asked for nosmoking room by booking and nobody tell me this. To sleep in 8 sqm. Room where somebody smoked before is total bad! Please mind this before you book the room in this hotel.

Hotel is rather near the main station.

There is no lift in this hotel but He arranged us to live on the third floor, a little high. However, we only lived there for one night. It doesn't matter.

Good value for a modern city hotel and very handy for the station and tram network. Friendly staff and good breakfast

The location is excellent for early flights when you need to get to airport at 5 a.m.

The room was very cold and there was no extra blanket to use in need. The hotel is good in warm weather.

Excellent central city location. City transportation (bus and tram) 200 meters from the front entrance as well as Central Train Station. Clean rooms and nice, helpful staff. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping.

Very convenient for the Railway and Tramway system.

The traffic noise was quite intrusive and the room smelt of smoke - this cleared when the window had been left open for a while.

It is not the hotel - It is hostel with no stars. Way too expensive for the quality it offers.

The toilet was outside of the room, if you need to go to the toilet at midnight you have to get dress to do so. The shower was broke, and the condition were very low. For the price I pay I was expecting something like the Ibis hotel, 3 start comfort. Even the breakfast was poor I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel
