City Inn  

Lots of restaurants close to the hotel. Most of them are take-out food type places but you can easily find a sandwich to go and a grocery store. The room was a good size. We stayed in a family room with 4 single beds. The room has no frills VERY basic but it fit our purpose. It did however have a stove and oven and a kitchen sink which was a nice addition. The S-line train station is 2.5 blocks away and it is a straight shot to Brandenburg gate. You do not have to transfer metros.

The neighborhood looks a little older. The building the "hotel" is in is an apartment building. Some of the apartments have people that live there permanently and some are rented as hotel rooms. You can smell people cooking meals in the hallway and the whole building is in much need of a fresh coat of paint. The outside appearance of the building and the hallways are a little scary, but once you get in to your room, the rooms are nicely painted white and have big windows. We stayed for 4 days and never had our room done. We almost ran out of toilet paper and there was nobody to ask for more since we were having long days in the city and the reception is only open from 10am to 10pm. Bring your own shampoo, your own hair dryer etc. Towels were provided. If you are planning to get an early start to the city, make sure you have your questions answered and your bearings to the metro before then. There are no amenities that you would expect from an actual hotel, no breakfast area, etc. The reception is on the third level of this apartment building (also inside another apartment). We stayed at the hotel because the price was much better than other hotels we could find for New Year's eve. If all you want is a roof over your head to sleep, this will do the trick. Otherwise, find some other place.

Hotel is smart ubicated. It´s a simple hotel with no luxuries. Three blocks from a train station. A lot of buses running at the door of the hotel. Very central. More recommended for young people. After 9:00 pm the reception is closed, but you get a key to the main door. Easy!! Could be a bit noised.

It´s not a fancy hotel. Corridors don´t look well. Main acces to the building is ugly.

the hotel was very close to innsbruker platz metro station so it was perfect to go around the city

wifi access was working poorly and the room was used by a smoker, although it was a non smoking room.

Good location, modarete price.

The free wifi is free only for 1 hour. If you want to use more, you have to pay for it.

Tv did not work

This more like a hostel and not a hotel or inn. The furniture in the room was really old and squeaky. The bed made noises when you move and the mattress was really not comfortable. The rooms are located in a strange industrial style building which is poorly lit at night. The street around the buildings are very loud and has lots of traffic. In short I would not stay there again.

great value for money, big clean room, free wifi, close to a big S-Bahn junction - convenient to get to any part of the city

Contratamos habitación de hotel y se trataba de apartamento sin servicio de limpieza diaria de habitación. Habitación exterior en zona ruidosa por circulación constante de vehículos. Tuvimos problemas para pagar con tarjetas de crédito que llevaban incorporados chips.

Die Heizung hat nicht funktioniert, Der Duschvorhang hat nicht den gewünschten Ziel bewirkt. Beim rein hängen in der Dusche hat er in der Dusche den Platz genommen und beim raus hängen, gelang das Wasser auf dem Boden.
