Very nice stuff, great location, very nice breakfast Quite noisy if room from street side, especially the window needs to be opened during a night - it was too hot in the room |

Location is really perfect! Hotel needs to be updated. I got room next to elevator which was very noisy from earlier in the morning – wouldn’t stay there for longer than one night. Also I didn't like pillow and breakfast. But for the price I paid - it was reasonable. |

The location was excellent - five minutes walking from the DOM and 10 minutes walking from the railway station! Breakfast was wonderful. Hotel staff very polite. |

Placed on old market, heart of the city, very close to the Dom and the river, also to the fair is 15 min by walk Old building need general refurbishing, hotel should have only one star at the moment, awfull breakfast |

The location in the Altstadt was excellent The room was too small it was a single room but made it into a double by calling it a twin with two single beds along one wallnot next to each other as we expected, also the lighting was two wires going across the room with 3 bulbs in it. not very nice really |

The hotel is superbly located, right in the historic heart of the city and less than 10 minutes' walk from the main railway station. My room was spacious and had a wonderful view of the spires of Cologne Cathedral. It was beautifully clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. |

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located, a short walk from the train station and the Dom, the river promenade, the shopping streets, and a number of museums including Museum Ludwig and Roman artifacts. Room 502 on the top floor has a great view of the Dom. Breakfast was good, and the rooms were clean. This is a basic hotel which we felt was very good value for money. Also, discount tickets for the 1 hour river cruise were easily available from the reception desk. |

Situated in centre on the old market square not far from DOM. There are many places with the traditional german food. Close to embankment. Was no soap in the bathroom ??? |

The location of the hotel was right in the center of the old city. Another nice perc was the hundred meter walk to the Rhein river promenade where you are greeted with several restaurants and a nice park with perfect outdoor seating. The hotel is also just a block away to the huge shopping district. Nothing about the hotel, but the location makes it susceptible to laud drunken Germans/British vacationers-I think this is only an issue on party weekends or German holidays. I was able to sleep well though. |

location is good, service at reception is OK, room square almost big, almost everything is OK the bath room has some space for improvement, the breakfast is too standard, check out time is too early - 11.00. |

The staff were very helpful. A faulty sink plug plunger was fixed immediately. The bathroom was very clean. The location was excellent. Some noise at night. We were at the front on the first floor. |

The hotel is placed in the centre of Koln. I think, it is difficult to find the hotel with more convinience location: it is near railway station, the Cathedral and shopping streets. Very clean and cozy hotel with a good breakfast. |

When I once walked the corridor, I heard some couple having hard sex in their room. The shouts were very loud, I could also hear thir bed hitting the wall at a very high frequency, so I said: some guest spend a great time here! :-) Being serious, I enjoyed that the hotel is really close to the Hauptbahnhof and the Dom. In my room I had a bath - that's good. I had a little room on the top floor there, and the bed was not as soft as in more expensive hotels. |
