We went on a city trip to Berlin with my husband and two older children. The hotel was in a perfect location the street was quiet and nice, very close to the underground, very close to good and affordable restaurants, the Italian restaurant a few doors down was excellent ! The hotel is in an older building that has much character - the vestibule of marble and "the old lift ". The room was big and the bathroom clean. I would definitely return here when I come back to Berlin. The beds were a little hard.

It's close to the underground station in a good neighborhood, it's clean, has a private bathroom and breakfast is not bad. For the price we paid (50 €/night for a double room) the value is great. Furniture is essential, but that was expected.

Cheap and cheerful - great breakfasts - comfy beds. No strings but at less than £18 per night B and B what do you expect. Great location - one minute to tube and good bus links. Even had a telly with some satellite stations.

The breakfast buffet was good and even open earlier than the given 8 am. The staff at evening check-in was friendly and helpful. The hotel is very well situated on the Berlin transport system. It is defintely not a luxury hotel. The bathroom was functional and no amenities were provided. The room was also not "cleaned" daily.

Very good location, close to U-Bahn station. In the quite side-street next to Kudamm. Clean rooms, good breakfasts, nice staff and mysterious elevator.

Good price and better than initial impressions on arrival. Room was fine but stark - surely more than one picture on big white walls would be possible!

I and my four friends stayed two nights in this fab little hotel. We had our own set of rooms off a courtyard to the back of the hotel, it was very clean, freshly refurbished and had brand new beds and carpets too.On top of this, the reception staff were so polite and helpful. This hotel is all you need for a city break, easy to find and very handy for taking the underground back to airport, no trailing cases everywhere. The breakfast is lovely and fresh, constantly replenished from 7.30 - 10 am, and as it is included in the price, it was an added bonus - some hotels charge 9 euros!

Location is good, friendly stuff, breakfast was O.K. Facilities are not soo good, a separate entrance in office stairway, dark room with later built in shower. But it was almost fair for the money paid.

Location is good - close to the Kudam street and transportation. The building pretends to be of more historical, rather than modern, so dont be surprised by the stairs (no elevator and hair dryer, btw) or the furniture. But for me it was ok since the room was clean and shower was ok too.

The location of the hotel is great - close to Kurfurstendamm, and quite central. The staff is friendly. Clean facilities. Good breakfasts. The wake-up calls: the first morning the call was 10 minutes late, and the second morning nobody called at all - even though both calls had been ordered every evening in advance.

Low budget hotel, conveniently situated near by a metro station, providing only the essential services Room for breakfast very small obliging the visitors to wait a long time. Elevator not working most of the times. Small and old tv. I realized theat many people were complainig at the reception for different reasons...

good location, comfortable room Although the hotel was fine for our needs, we had one very negative experience. The reception of the hotel closes at 11 PM and for some reason there is only one key for each room. The young man at the reception told us that the desk closed at night (11.00?) and there was also a large sign next to our door saying that the reception closed "at 24.00" (midnight.) I was traveling with my friend who decided to go home earlier and gave me the key so I could let myself in. He arrived after 11 PM and the desk was closed so he had to stay outside for almost 2 hours. This was perhaps our mistake or misunderstanding, but the next morning we went to the reception desk to make a polite complaint about the key situation and the receptionist criticized us quite rudely for "not paying attention." Whether it was our "fault" or not, it is unprofessional to blame guests for a confusing hotel policy. There are other hotels on the street and in the neighborhood and most of them seemed to have night reception staff. All of this reflected negatively on the management of the hotel and despite our positive first impression, we cannot recommend it.

Ceiling of the bathroom while under shower is to low if your tall. We had to ask for toiletpaper. Not enough seats at breakfast in the morning. Breakfast starts at 8, 7 would be better.
