The staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good for the price. It was a perfect location, close to the train station, the shopping centre and the museum. The bathrooms were brand new, it looks like they are updating the entire hotel. The rooms are very basic, they literally are a bed, a bathroom and a tv. Be prepared to pay a 10 Euro deposit for the tv control, if you need to watch tv.

Location was excellent and very near to the train station. Having nearby supermarket for essential things and close to shopping area in Mannheim. Breakfast was good and available at 6am which was good for business travelers who want to leave for work.

friendly staff, locatiion very closed to main station, bathroom ok, some helpful details like city map free of charge partly very old fashioned, e.g. doors and carpets; the room was partly dirty, especially one chair; teleguidance only by deposit, heating in the bathroom out of order.

Friendly staff, convenient location. The plumbing systems are problematic. I don't like a puzzle about which way the shower tap should go to get hot water and then have to try both directions for up to 7 minutes....whilst I freeze.

Central position Although my booking reported the price of the room at € 68 per night and that I was in possession of the printed booking confirming € 68 per night, the management has demanded € 80 per night, declaring that the rates have increased from 1 ^ September. My reservation was made in February and, according to the management, concerned only the availability of the room, not the price, which could be increased. I had neither the time nor the wish to call the police for € 12!. Chinese management. Hotel to be avoided.

The location is good and convenient. The service was very reasonable by German standards. The room and bathroom was very clean. The shower used a push button that worked in 30 second intervals. The sink used an automatic sensor.

The hotel is very conveniently located close to the train main station and to the city center, however it was not noisy. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was very clean. The room was a little bit old but with new furniture.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the wireless internet was working in the room and the breakfast was quite good (large choice). The hotel is perfectly located close to the train station and to the city center. It was quite noisy, both because of the noise from the street and the noise from the corridor. There was a strange smell in the room and since the windows did not fully open, it was not possible to ventilate the room properly.

Location was good for us as near to the roads we were using. The bathroom was very nice Our youngest son complained the 'free' Wi Fi did not work. The parking arrangements did not work well for us.

City Hotel it's very well situated, 5 minute to Hauptbahnhof and 5 minutes to Centrum.Staff people are very helpfull and nice . In the night it's quite noisy , walls are to thin and you can hear everything starting with tram outside and shower from your neighbour but you start to use with that.

We stayed at this nice hotel and it was in a great location. You could see the db baun 2blocks to the South and the water Mannheim water tower was three blocks to the North. Transportation on the city trams was 1/2 block away. Rooms were clean and comfortable and clean and had a great breakfast we will visit this hotel again. wasnt fmiliar with the shower system.
