everything was perfect! room was huge, beautiful and spotless (2 bedroom suite) booked for 3 ppl. the hotel is very charming and has a cozy sitting room with a faux fire place. staff was incredibly nice and helpful. great value!! we enjoyed our stay very much. can highly recommend.

The service is professional, breakfast is yummy. And very convenience to everywhere. Walk to central station only need to spend 2 mins. The roomies very clean and luxury.

The hotel is reasonably priced and close to the main train station. The bathrooms are modern and the rooms beautifully decorated. The luxurious colors and fabrics were refreshing after staying in so many blank hotels with generic interiors.

Have stayed here before and liked it. Were given a comfort room though we had booked a standard. The room was big with a sitting area and a separate area. The entire hotel is non-smoking which is a big plus. It is well located - walking distance to the hauptbahnhof but quite and peaceful.

Location, reasonable rates and excellent support from staff. Lack of basic utensils in the kitchen for simple catering; for example no chopping board, cutting knives, dinner plates, etc. We even had to ask to get an electric jug to be able to make some tea.

Comfortable and clean. Big rooms. Near the Banhof and the U-bahn. The Hotel has few parking places and you cannot reserve one. It is not easy to park in the neighborhood. There is not a lift for the luggages.

I particularly enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. Also, lovely pillows and cute little candy sheep on the pillow every day! The room was quite small.

The room (double room with a sofa) had a lot of space, was surprisingly quiet (if there was some noise, it came from the corridor and other quests, not too much anyway) and the location nearby railwaystation and about 1 km from Rathaus was perfect. Breakfast was simple but enough (bread, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, egg and bacon), coffee excellent. Since we were travelling with a 1 year old, we got a water boiler to our room (when asked) and there was a baby seat available in the restaurant. No lift - which was quite obvious when the house was about 100 years old. Carrying a baby stroller to the reception and to our room which was on the first floor was a bit hard, but luckily we were two adults and one baby only. The bed and the pillows weren't the most comfortable, but still good enough. It depends on the weather if it is hot or cold by the night - we experiended the both of them. But you can tell it since there is no air conditioning and we didn't come to think of any heating when we got to bed at night. These were only small things, mainly it was an excellent hotel!

Old building nicely transformed into a nice hotel, calm, quite comfortable. Not too close from the station, so better. Very friendly staff. Very good value for the price I paid.

Schön eingerichtet, volle (und Preislich gute) Minibar, tolles Badezimmer, nette Mitarbeiter. U-Bahn Richtung Reeperbahn und Co ist relativ Nah, genauso wie der Busverkehr. Bereits beim ersten abendlichen Außerhausgehen ist St. Georg (in dem das Hotel in einer kleinen, schlecht Beleuchteten Seitenstraße liegt) negativ aufgefallen. Nachdem man mit befreundeten Hamburgen gesprochen hat, wurde auch klar warum. Dieser Stadtteil gehört mit zu den schlimmsten Hamburgs. Dementsprechend hat man die Umgebung auch nicht erkundet und man is gleich wieder in das Hotel gegangen, ständig mit einem Blick auf die unangenehmen Leute die sich dort aufhalten mit Straßenseitenwechsel wenn es zu unangenehm wurde, um am nächsten Tag andere Stadtteile zu sehen. Tolles Hotel, jedoch würde ich aufgrund der Lage nicht nochmal dort übernachten.

Отель находится в тихом переулке, недалеко от вокзала. Довольно хороший завтрак , приветливый персонал. Особое внимание заслуживает оформление отеля необычными портретами собак в старинных костюмах. Номера большие с высокими потолками. Нет лифта. Скрипучий пол в номере.

內部裝潢非常漂亮, 服務親切而且價格實惠. I like the old fasion decoration with good service. Of course, the C/P value is high. 地點離火車站有點距離, 而且沿路上常有流浪漢, 吸毒/醉漢在要錢. 治安不太好! A little far from the main train station and the way to hotel is not safe after PM 6:00.

Die Mitarbeiter im City House Hotel sind sehr motiviert, gut informiert und ausgesprochen freundlich. Es scheint, als ob sie ihren Job gerne machen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder dort buchen. Es gab gute Tips an der Rezeption. Eventuell hab ich oben die Punkte Komfort und Preis/Leistungsverhältnis etwas zu schlecht bewertet - da fehlt mir ein bißchen der Vergleich innerhalb Hamburgs.

Vom exzellenten Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis abgesehen, fand ich die 'Entschädigung' mit einer kleinen Flasche Wein für den vermeintlichen Lärm aufgrund von Renovierungsarbeiten einen tollen Akzent, der für den Service- und Qualitätsanspruch des Hotels spricht. Die kostenlose Bedienung am Tee- und Kaffeeautomat im Kaminzimmer war auch eine schöne Idee mit einem Hauch von Luxus! Frühstück vom feinsten in schönen Räumlichkeiten... Ein herrliches Bett in einem großzügigem Zimmer... und all das sehr zentral in Hamburg! Danke!

Das Hotel ist sehr individuell und spricht einen sofort an. Die Räume sind grosszügig (zumindest unseres) und sehr sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es steht zudem ein kleiner, sehr geschmackvoll eingerichteter Aufenthaltsraum zur Verfügung mit vielerlei Lektüre-Angeboten und Kaffeeautomaten. - Daneben ist die Lage des Hotels hervorzuheben: der Bahnhof in unmittelbarer Nähe und vor allem Richtung Stadtzentrum und sogar Hafen ist ein Spaziergang immer wieder sehr angenehm. - Mit einem normalen Standardhotel ist das Hotel City House überhaupt nicht zu vergleichen. Hier hat es Charme und Stil sowie einen Hauch Gediegenheit, den man irgendwie ohnehin mit hh in Verbindung bringt. Für Autoreisende ist der Parkplatz nur bedingt zu empfehlen. Es stehen nur wenige Plätze zur Verfügung und es ist sehr eng.
