Hotel City House  

We traveled with our 20 months old baby, when we arrived at the hotel at noon, the room was ready with a lovely baby cot. The hotel is located within 5 minutes' walk from the central station.

The hotel is just next to a red light street with lots of casinos. It seems not very safe at night.

The service is professional, breakfast is yummy. And very convenience to everywhere. Walk to central station only need to spend 2 mins. The roomies very clean and luxury.

The hotel is reasonably priced and close to the main train station. The bathrooms are modern and the rooms beautifully decorated. The luxurious colors and fabrics were refreshing after staying in so many blank hotels with generic interiors.

Room and location

Collecting the keys from another hotels reception is not nice.

Location, reasonable rates and excellent support from staff.

Lack of basic utensils in the kitchen for simple catering; for example no chopping board, cutting knives, dinner plates, etc. We even had to ask to get an electric jug to be able to make some tea.

I particularly enjoyed the friendliness of the staff. Also, lovely pillows and cute little candy sheep on the pillow every day!

The room was quite small.

The room (double room with a sofa) had a lot of space, was surprisingly quiet (if there was some noise, it came from the corridor and other quests, not too much anyway) and the location nearby railwaystation and about 1 km from Rathaus was perfect. Breakfast was simple but enough (bread, cereals, fruits, yoghurt, egg and bacon), coffee excellent. Since we were travelling with a 1 year old, we got a water boiler to our room (when asked) and there was a baby seat available in the restaurant.

No lift - which was quite obvious when the house was about 100 years old. Carrying a baby stroller to the reception and to our room which was on the first floor was a bit hard, but luckily we were two adults and one baby only. The bed and the pillows weren't the most comfortable, but still good enough. It depends on the weather if it is hot or cold by the night - we experiended the both of them. But you can tell it since there is no air conditioning and we didn't come to think of any heating when we got to bed at night. These were only small things, mainly it was an excellent hotel!

everything was perfect! room was huge, beautiful and spotless (2 bedroom suite) booked for 3 ppl. the hotel is very charming and has a cozy sitting room with a faux fire place. staff was incredibly nice and helpful. great value!! we enjoyed our stay very much. can highly recommend.

Lage und Sauberkeit

Wunderschönes, kleines Hotel in zentraler Lage. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Man kann diese Hotel nur weiterempfehlen. Würden dieses Hotel sofort wieder buchen.

zentrale und trotzdem ruhige Lage des Hotels, gute Ausstattung, besondere Atmosphäre, sehr gutes Frühstück, auch für Alleinerziehende mit Kind (11J) sehr gut geeignet,

Parkplatzsituation unbefriedigend, Parken mit Glück am Hotel schließlich möglich, ggf. ergänzende Parkplätze anmieten und zur Verfüg. stellen,

Die Angestellten waren auserordentlich freundlich und zuvokommend. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, sauber und das Zimmermädchen hat jeden Tag alles wieder tip tpo gemacht. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und immer bis zu Schluss voll bestückt, außerdem war die Frühstückszeit extrem lang. Die Lage des Hotels war super und nicht wie teilweise beschrieben in einem gruseligen Viertel. St. Georg ist immer mehr im kommen, hat viele schöne Kneipen und kleine Restaurants. Das Hotel liegt außerdem sehr ruhig in einer Seitenstrasse.
