Our room turned out to be a big apartment with lounge and to bathrooms Near to everything in Altstadt Clean Helpful staff
Strange smell in the bathrooms The decor in the hotel is not nice Free wi-fi only for 30 minutes
Good hotel,good location,nice city!
Clean & comfortable, with friendly & helpful staff
The noise of the traffic
Staff were very friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable.
No tea or coffee facilities in room but think that's common for Germany?
location breakfast staff
Central in town
Some noise from people in the street during night. Wifi to be paid for
Breakfast and the breakfast staff great
Night club within 25 metres noise from drunks until 0700 hrs Shower before 0600 or no hot water. No coordination from reception staff had people chasing us along the street wanting us to pay again All of this for 150 Euro per night with no internet. Having travelled in Europe for 9 months over 4 years this has to be the worstwe have ever exprienced!
Easy access to the railway station and the center of town.
Quiet room and decent size. Good location in old town.
Location. Really big family room with good beds. Nice price
A bit noise from the traffic and people partying. Noticeable because the warm weather and we had to sleep with the windows open
Location. Also it has a certain style. The furnishings are good and it is very clean. It was good value for the price.
It was very noisy. We had a room at the front, overlooking a very picturesque main road. Probably 350 days a year this will be fine. But the week we were touring northern Germany, it was very hot. As the hotel doesn't have air conditioning we had to sleep with our window open. And the main road forms a canyon that amplifies the noise. There was both late night noise from people out for the evening, and early morning noise, I think from dustmen and other workers. The internet worked on the ground floor, but not on the fourth. Having said all this, I would stay here again, but it would have to be in a room at the back.
Location, was good. Walk to everything. Nice room, light & airy. Breakfast not include, pay extra, it's worth the very nice breakfast. Staff friendly, but management needs to reconsider their customer service.
1/2hr free Internet then pay extra which seems ridiculous, we stayed 3 days but only a one off free Internet. Pay extra if u want to use the safe in your room- that's just weird. Pay extra for breakfast. It's these little things that put you off side, leaves a bad taste in your mouth, rather than a pleasant over all experience. It was really noisy, the pub up the road seems to stay open very late. Also it's a busy corner with bus stopping & traffic. Best to not get a room overlooking the road. Request a back room.
Location is a noisy street with cars and drunk people constantly making noise all night!!!!!!
The location is excellent, right in the middle of old Lübeck. Not too expensive public parking is available nearby, if you travel by car like us. The room was on the small side, but comfortable. We had a view over old town rooftops. The whole hotel feels a little bit cramped and a little bit old, but well cared for. The breakfast buffet had many options and was tasty.
We had to park illegaly on the street outside in order to check in, which was a little stressful. The interior styling feels a little dated.
Location was very good for exploring Lubeck. Car parking easy for a city centre hotel. Breakfast was excellent a mixture of German and Swedish cultures
Room no 1 groundfloor. Too close too housekeeping facilities. Disturbed in early moorning, 5:45 am, by people preparing for breakfast.
Since there is no aircon you need to open the windows in hot wheater and the noice level is extremely high from a near by bar/disco making it very hard to sleep.
I liked everything except the one aggrassive receptionist.
One - and only one - of the receptionists was unable to behave herself, refusing to give a guest the username and password for the Wifi. In addition she was aggressive and quite rude. She must have had one - or several - really bad day(s)? This was in the morning of July 15th, 2014. I'm a big guy and don't really mind too much, but this behaviour is not at all good for the hotel. Of course, when I asked another receptionist, she just printed out the username and password - no problem. Only because of this irrational person, the score from me is rather bad.
The hotel is in the old town and by walking you can reach main tourist attractions in the city center. Parking 15 euros per day in the parking hall nearby. Family suite was good our group of 2 adults and 2 kids.
easy to find; can walk everywhere around the old city; comfortable beds; wonderful breakfast and staff
small room on top floor
It was quiet and the room was large.
Good location in the old town, within walking distance from the train station. Nice building and accomodating staff (we got breakfast served twenty minutes earlier than normal the last morning). We got nice, big rooms.
The rooms facing the street suffers from a noise problem, so if possible get a room facing the patio. Some may find the beds somewhat stiff. I think wifi and safes in the room (if they exist) should be free.
Very nice hotel in a historical red masonry building. Just 10-15 minutes walk form the central station and situated almost in the heart of all touristic attractions. Clean comfortable room with large flat screen TV, shower tube large enough even for two. Very good breakfast.
The bed which was supposed to a double bed was actually a two single beds just put together. This was a bit disappointing.
Great location in the old city. Less than 10 minute walk to the main square and many of sites in the old city.
