City Center Apartments    

I'd say that everything is fine with this apartments (Karl Marx Allee 137). It's clean and quite cosy. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and moreover there were some oil, tea bags, salt and sugar - it helps when you've just arrived :) Taxi driver lost in this district, he didn't know any word in English and Anne explained him by phone what's a place he needs to get to. Many thanks.

The only disadvantage of this place is a distance. It is not far from city center and sights by metro but the cost of metro is quite sizeable. We were family of three person and it cost us a little bit more than 6€ per person for one-day ticket. Pay attention that tickets' automats in Berlin don't accept visa as well as a lot of food stores.

very good position for visit the city. very clean apartment. staff very nice, all indications were very clear. simple but very nice apartment.

The apartment was very close to the location I had to go to everyday - the neighborhood was nice and walkable. There was public transit close by.

Very good value for money and loads of room. Also easy access to ubahn and only a short distance to city centre. Would highly reccomend.

Difficult to find by car, espescially if you don't speak and German, otherwise no complaints.

The apartment was exactly as it was presented in the pictures and as was described by the owner. It was very clean and very quiet (it is located in a big street but doesn't overlook it). The location is perfect, the tram is 20m away and the Bahn station is 5 minutes walking distance, while at the same time you have countless small restaurants, bars and cafes right at your doorstep. The owner was very helpful, giving us instructions for everything we needed, from emailing transportation instructions to a phone number of an english speaking taxi driver. We were very happy with the apartment and would definately stay there again in the future, so I recommend it to anyone who wants to go to Berlin.

Bear in mind that there is no elevator so, if you have knee problems, the stairs will give you a hard time. Otherwise it is a perfect apartment.

High ceilings, cleanliness, meet and greet.

Great location, 5 minute walk to Alexanderplatz. The history of the street and area immediately surrounding the apartments is great. The u-BAHN is a 2 min walk away and a well stocked supermarket a few minutes round the corner. The cool berlin clubs (watergate/bergain) are a 10e taxi ride away.

No iron!

Close to the city centre. Spacious and comfortable. Good value for money

We were on the 6th floor and the lift did not work for the first 2 days. The curtains did not block out any light, could do with some blackout curtains/blinds.

Excellent location, right near the u-bahn and with several shops nearby in a very interesting district of former East Berlin. The flat is spacious and has everything a family needs for a short stay.

The beds are a little hard and uncomfortable and there is no microwave, but these are just minor inconveniences.

The internet did not work at all, almost useless, extremely slow, slow enough to take almost 10 mins to open a single website!!!! I depend on the internet to book a taxi, but it was too bad that I wasn't manage to book a taxi to the airport. I was hopeless walking in the snow the other morning and has to catch a taxi in Alexander Plaz. In addition to that they charge you a 25 euro cleaning service fee. If you have any common sense, stay away from this city center apartments. The staff was not friendly enough either. The apartment I stayed was very shabby outside in the corridor and the toilet/bathroom smells. The water leaks.

I stayed there with my husband 3 days in January. Everything was perfect, though really simple. We felt pretty much like home. everyday after long walks and sighteseeing was good to come to our Berlin home, it is located in eastern part of the city, so you really feel the atmosphere. The most amazing thing, that I was really impressed about was the staff. I left some valuables- after check out, and I was very glad to be able to pick that up promptly. The staff is honest, sincere. Leaves a very good impression. Would definitely recommend to others and would definitely come back.

Karl Marx Allee 66. Perfect in almost any aspect. Really close to the u-bahn and to the night life city center. Well furnished and fine decorated. We really enjoy it. Thanks to the apartment concept it's possible to find some amenities such coffee, tea, and oil left by the previous guests. If you don't have any one who can host you in berlin that're the best choice. And the beds... So comfortable.

Wi-fi connection to improve. Totally not good to work with.

Good clean apartment, close to tube links and extremely helpful staff

As the apartment is in a residential block, one of the apartments above had a dog that pretty much constantly barked and kept us awake for the whole of one of the nights.

Good standard of accommodation - clean, tidy and with plenty of space for a city centre apartment. Well equipped and nice and warm for a winter trip to Berlin. Great location, right next to the U-Bahn and perfect for exploring East and West Berlin.

The location

The apartment is just in front of the station with elevator. The rooms are very clean big. And there are everything you need including washing machine.

The web said there is a service to keep luggage after check out. But they don't accept, so we have to find locker at the Alexsanderplats station and it was difficult. Explanatiom from the airport was not correct. We had to walk with our luggage more half an hour but from different subway, we could get there just infront of the apartment.

Really nice and fresh apartment, good location and nice staff that met us up and explained everything :)

Nothing to unlike!

Good value for money. We probably will stay here next time if we would visit Berlin again.

The location in East Berlin was excellent, and the feel of the apartment was good. It had plenty of space. Wifi, really good.

No washing machine. Bath was quite dirty (marks) Curtain was very thin and let all the light through.

Staff never respond when I complain about the wifi which is not working

It was conveniently located (5 U-bahn stops from Alexanderplatz), quite large, clean; it has Wifi, a real oven. The check-in was fast and businesslike. It is easy to park a car in the vicinity even if the appartment doesn't come with a parking place.

Bed a bit small, the chairs were a bit flimsy (my wife and I are NOT thin people, it's true), the neighbors quite noisy and the Wifi had to be reset from time to time. The fridge could be larger (in summer time, it is hot and you tend to drink a lot).

The apartment was in a fantastic location for the beer festival. It was fairly large, and well stocked (e.g. coffee, tea etc). The facilities were clean - it was basically a home away from home. Exactly what we were looking for at an excellent price!

The curtain rail was broken, which meant that water got splashed absolutely everywhere in the bathroom when anyone had a shower. Although this was fairly easily cleaned, it was a bit of a pain.

We stayed 3 nights in the appartment, very nice. Its perfect if you want privicy and live on your one. Nice kitschen bathroom bedroom and livingroom with TV and WiFi. The appartment has everything you need for both short and long stay. I recommend!!
