Great location, easy to find next to the subway. The apartment was big and sunny even in December. You have everything you need in the kitchen. Everything was great! Peter was excellent landlord.
The double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together, but we notice this in advance and it wasn’t big problem.
Washing machine not working
Great location, easy to find, busy street but quiet in apartment, just straight forward, comfortable, everything nearby and easy to access. Lovely bath!
Ann who met us on arrival was very helpful. Big apartment tall ceilings very nice location right next to subway.
a little out of the way to the main city sites
The apartment was in a great location a 10 minute walk from Alexander Platz. The agent who met us was very friendly and informative. It was clean and had everything you needed in a kitchen although we did not use this other than a coffee in the morning. Wifi worked great. Found 2 great restaurants nearby (5 minutes walk) which were excellent in food and value.
The double bed was actually 2 singles pushed together (I had booked this as a double) which in itself was not a problem but they had a framework on them which created a space between mattresses, the mattresses although good quality meant we did not have a good nights sleep and kept falling into the middle of the single beds. This was the only downfall with this apartment.
The apartment is well equiped. Staying there has been comfortable.
They changed the location of the apartment a few days before date, pretending that moving from a flat few blocks from Alexanderplatz to another 4 or 5 metro stations from there was an "upgrade". The person who delivered the keys was not nice at all. The phone number in the reservation sheet is wrong, this made a nightmare to contact the owner. And instead of recognizing the mistake, kept insisting that the number was right in the email. OK, it was. But it should be right everywhere. There were restrictions for the use of Wifi: "no movies, no photos...". Simply ridiculous. TV was too old and there were no international channels, not even music channels.
Peter is a great landlord. He answered my questions extremely quickly and when we had troubles with the wifi he sent a member of his team relatively fast to come and fix it for us. Everyone we encountered were very friendly and the area was perfect, very close to a train station that could get you anywhere. The apartment was also very beautiful. Thank you for a fantastic stay.
Access to restaurant downstairs was a bonus.
Address details were confusing for our GPS which took us to a different area. Lost time for arrival point because of this.also, parking is an issue.
The apartment was ideal for what we wanted. It was a good size and had all necessary facilities.
The woman who met us at the apartment was very rude and dismissive. She should be given a lesson on how to deal with customers.
The apartment was reasonably clean, excellent location and our correspondence before arriving to the apartment with Peter was excellent. He gave us a lot of helpful information and was very pleasant.
We had arranged to meet at the apartment to pick up the keys with Anna. When we arrived she was extremely rude, we hadn't even gotten through the door and she asked us why we had taken so long to arrive from the airport (even though we had come straight there and it was our first time in Berlin so we had to get our bearings). It was obviously just a misunderstanding but was handled very badly and unprofessionally. It was only myself and my brother and we felt as though we had done something wrong. Despite apologising she wouldnt let the situation go and kept talking about it. For this reason I would not stay here again, which is a shame.
Every single thing about this flat was excellent! We will definetilly recommend this accomodation to our friends!
Be sure to check carefully the true cost of the flat - Booking.com gave the price for only two people although we booked the flat for three. The final cost was written in the smallest of small letters at the bottom of the reservation confirmation.
Bright and spacious apartment a lot of restaurants near the apartment 2 supermarket nearby
Dirty pans in the oven Did not respond to email Much leftover food products on the shelf, it is unclear whether suitable to be used, serves as unnecessary decoration I could not open the couch The curtains do not hide the light. We were up early every morning. Old TV set, appropriate programs for those who know German
We were in Andreas strasse 46, right next to the metro, fantastic for when it rains- which it did. Trains frequent so getting around easy - worth having travel card/Berlin Welcome. The bakery downstairs has a terrific selection for breakfast. The little Vietnamese restaurant has delicious food to eat-in or takeaway, good value for money and less than 5 minutes walk. Appartment is light and well equipped and bed very reasonable.
Strange shower curtain arrangement, there was never a moment when it didn't stick to you. Might be noisy in high summer if you need all the windows open.
The street is very quiet. The apartement is very close of the wall memorial park. The Alexanderplatz is about 20-25 min walking distance. The apartement was great for 4 persons.
Except for kitchen mitts that was missing, the rest was ok.
Great location, lovely people. Close to all the interesting sights in Berlin.
WiFi a bit flakey
We stayed at Karl Marx Allee 64 Lovely welcome from staff- no issues even though our flight was significantly delayed. Very spacious apartment with good balcony view. Excellent location- right by the U-bahn, 2 stops from Alexanderplatz. If you are on a budget and don't want to eat out every night, the apartment is within walking distance of a supermarket and has decent facilities for preparing meals. Pretty much had everything we needed.
No Microwave wasn't an issue for us. No Freezer compartment in fridge- again not an issue for us but you may want to be aware. Two twin beds- rather than a double- we were aware of this from another review, the beds were comfortable and there is a sofa bed if you prefer.
Very large and spacious. Gorgeous building and a very nice, central area.
There were *three* frying pans but *NO* pots! It makes cooking quite difficult.
Near metro stop; interesting history in the area; very close to Alexanderplatz
Bathroom a little rundown
Great location close to U Bahn and Bernauer Strasse section of the Berlin wall Memorial. Great price. Free Parking very close by.
1) Cleanliness 2) Late check-in without any problem 3) Nice neighborhood 4) Positive staff 5) Bialetti coffeemaker
Great location, easily accesible for public transport, spacious, efficient and friendly staff, quiet neighbourhood yet very close to the city centre. 20 minute walk to Alexanderplatz
You could hear every movement of the neighbours upstairs, yet to be expected in an apartment
Wifi excellent, good location for nearby rewe supermarket, safe location despite graffiti on wall
A nice flat, great staff, good location. Really I can recommend it.
