Classic Hotel Harmonie (Superior)

very nice building. it easely can go for 4 stars. big rooms, clean. breakfast good. there is no wide choice, but everything fresh and tasty. the location is perfect. 5 min walking from cathedral and aldstad. there is secured car parking. very good hotel

the receptionist was rude.she can ruin ur good mood, i think she doesnt ever has a good mood. or may be she just needs to have a rest? .......this is the only thing that i didnt like.

We've been in Cologne for 4 nights and the hotel is place very convenient for almost all kind of activities:business, walking, shopping , restaurants etc. Very close to the rail station and DOM. Quite close to the shopping area. The hotel is very cosy. The rooms are bit to small but very clean and comfortable. Nice design. Breakfast quit rich. Very quite room considering the distance from the trains. Close to the hotel you can find a very nice restaurant with excellent food and beer(in front of Ursulachurch).

No bar/personal for a late beer:).

I had a most enjoyable stay this week at the Classic Hotel Harmonie. My single room was of a good size compared to many that I have stayed in, all was very clean indeed and most comfortable. The bathroom had, I presume, been refitted recently and was excellent. The staff were all very helpful indeed and keen to help. The location was close to the centre of Cologne, easy to find and in a quiet area of the city. I intend to stay there again.

I liked everything. My only minor comment was about the reading light by the bed which I did not find gave a wide enough arc of light to read a book easily at night. Fine for looking at a clock to see the time but not for reading. But at least there was a reading light!

The hotel is quite new and clean, the breakfast is quite good. Very convenient location - close to main cathedral (Dom) and main railway station (Koln Hbf), only 5 minutes by walk.

I booked superior room with hair-dryer, safe, mini-bar, but I haven't found any of the above facilities in my room! The room was really very very small (about 1,7*1,7m), the bed was very short too, so for the people who are taller than 1,70m height it would be quite difficult to sleep on so tiny bed! The personel was very unfriendly and each time I asked any information how to get to Center or to the Exhibition, they gave me absolutely wrong information, or they just told me that they don't know and that it's better to ask someone on the information center desk at the station!

It is a quiet, small Hotel right in the city center. Lovely small garden terrace, which was ideal in the evenings, because it was very hot during our stay.

Very nicely renovated, great colours, comfortable shower cabinet even for a 2-meter tall guy, very close to all the sights and the main station but remarkably quiet, friendly staff, good breakfast buffet. Double bed is continental style, with a small gap between two matrasses and not the more comfortable British single matrass.

My wife asked for more pillows but was told by reception that there were no more

smell of toilet

Convenient location; good attentive service, and I liked faintly hearing the old church bells at times.

The only issue, like so many hotels, is thin walls and doors, so that you hear your neighbors at all hours

Once upgraded the room was great, very quite and clean. The breakfast was also very nice. It could have used something hot to eat given the weather.

Standard Single rooms are to small, to upgrade was a bit expensive. If you don't like small rooms book a double online.

De ligging in Altstad nord op loopafstand van de Dom en cs is prima. Ontbijt is ook goed verzorgd.

Kamer was erg klein en capaciteit van restaurant voor ontbijt was niet toereikend bij volle bezetting.
