Cologne Marriott Hotel

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They all spoke very good English which helped as my German is basic. Room was lovely, no complaints there at all. As was housekeeping, who were spot on every day. Nice products in the bathroom also. Bar and dining room staff were very pleasant, all of whom spoke exceptional English. Food in the hotel was good although maybe a little over priced, as were the drinks. As the hotel is brilliantly located going into Cologne centre was not a problem, where there is a wide price range for pubs, bars, cafe and restaurants. All-in-all, full marks.

Very clean and comfortable. It was also very luxurious and the staff were great.

Executive lounge is a plus (very relax & quiet). Location is also a plus (close to trainstation & free parking for guest residing on the upper executive floor). Beds are of excellent quality.

Rooms are a bit small for the price per room; no seperate seating corner; no free internet on the room (quite important for an executive room); desk was a bit small;

breakfast was perfect, people-service also, very near to the center

prices, free Wifi internet, elevator function without card.

All facilities were to a high standard, well appointed rooms, friendly and efficient staff, overall a very enjoyable stay

The location is fantastic. They say it's 10 to 15 mins away from the Koln Domme, but really it's a 5 minute walk. You just cross through the metro station and you are at the steps of the Dome as well as the starting place to go walking down several streets full of shops. So, location is excellent, and the beds were very big and comfortable as well as clean!

The hotel has a rather bad heating system. So, I don't think it's very reccommended for winter time. The heating system is basically through a ventilation system, which can be pretty noisy, so if you are a light sleeper you'll have to turn off the fan at night no doubt, which also means, you will be left without any heat over the night...luckily enough the bed covers are unbelievabley warm, so as long as you stay under it shuoldn't be a problem.

A fair amount of guest care efficiency!

For the price we paid, proposing not the daily if not twice daily change of bed linen for 'environment' reasons is quite cynic to say the least! Business people who work a very long day need the comfort of freshly cleaned bed linen! In fact the first two nights we missed the note and slept in unchanged bed linen which we usually take as forgranted. Moreover on one occassion, the last night the in room breakfast order did not arrive even though it was solicited and in fact we had to take our breakfast at the airport! We are only answering the question put to us, we do not believe in making complaints but we do support organisations who show that they really want to improve, after all no management can guarantee to the least tier!

The room was clean and well furnished, very modern. We ate in the restaurant and the was superb, waiters were very helpful.

The room was large, clean and modern. I had advantage of the executive lounge with free wireless access which comes highly recommended

The bed was surprisingly uncomfortable.The breakfast - whilst the food was good , the organization wasn't - no glasses for juice; food not kept replenished etc - maybe there just wasn't enough staff on duty?
