Location,staff & breakfast.
Great value for money, clean hotel in a great location, nearby nice restaurants and shops.
To small dining area, and room.
The hotel is close to the subway stop, and it is located in a nice neighbourhood. Madame tee serves a nice variety of tee, Bergmanstraße has plenty of restaurant options. I recommend marheineke markthalle where you can buy fresh groceries and taste some of the food they cook there. There are couple nice bars on mehringdamm street, like melitta sundstrom, etc. The room was clean, the bed was ok. On each floor there's a wifi router, so you have free internet connection. The staff was nice, for example we asked for hot milk for our coffee and they remembered our habbits and they served it also the next morning, without our asking. I find this very thoughtful.
The breakfast area is small and can be really crowded. Sometimes in the night you have to wait for the receptionist to open the main door, oe the door from the parking.
Standard city hotel near metro station. Good bedroom with workdesk and free Wifi. Free parking space behind hotel. Nice breakfast buffet.
The curtain couldn't close so room was somewhat light. I was given a room with three beds, no cupboard to put my luggage. The previous double rooms I had were better.
Convenient location (for me), free WLAN, free parking, good mattress in bed, good quality breakfast buffet included.
Hotel needs a bit of renovation - and most of all soundproof windows, it was very noisy since it´s facing a major through road. Had to park on other company´s parking spot since staff was not willing to unlock the hotel´s own parking lot, they just handed out a flyer stating "this car belong to one of our residents".
A small friendly hotel in good surroundings.
Rooms are small.
Breakfast good and staff friendly and helpful
Decor was poor, corridors poorly lit with a buzzing light. Rooms tiny and not clean (plastic cup wih drink remains stuck behind radiator) bathroom old & tired.
Staff were rude, room was disgustingly dirty.
It was cheap. Very near public transport. Walking distance from good restaurants.
Bit noisy being so close to the main cross roads
Its proximity to the metro station that connects to line 6 of the Berlin underground. It was very easy to get around.
The breakfast was disappointing. I mean there were flies hovering over the buffet table for crying out loud.
Lovely unique touches on the doors Very welcoming and helpful staff Breakfast included in the already cheap price Very powerful hairdryer
Pillows too soft
Good location, in front of the u-banh (underground) and close to tempelhof airport. Breakfast and staff good.
Noise, too much noise.
Easy to reach by subway, a nice friendly, clean budget hotel. I've stayed here on many short trips to Berlin. Room is a decent size and staff are very helpful .
It was difficult to sleep at times because of noise from people outside the hotel where there is a bar.
+ friendliness of staff + breakfast + quality/money
- room not very big
Clean room, good breakfast, great location (U6 is in front of the hotel), very nice and helpful staff
Wi-Fi not that good
+ The staff is really good + Is really well comunicated with the public transportation system
noise from traffic at night
Cheap hotel. Nothing special, but good location. Staff is nice and helpful, also very relax.
I knew were I was going... I book at last minute. The internet didn't work fast... Bad internet connection.
Comfortable rooms, fairly cheap prices.
Breakfast buffet - rich offer Free WiFi availability Free parking space availabilty Cleanliness Friendly staff Location - subway (U-bahn), bus stop few steps away
Noise from the nearby junction Smoke (2nd floor) from the "next window" flats (although the hotel is marked as non smoking area) Smoke (2nd floor) from the bar in front of the lobby
Extremely friendly staff above all else. Decent housing, the location near the C Club and Columbia Hall (we went to the concert). Special thanks to the wonderful Silvana.
The proximity to the station. The staff are receptive if you make an attempt to speak their language. Some people said they were rude. I didn't find that. They were very polite. Yes, they can speak English, but if you can speak German, speak to them in German. The breakfast was excellent. Also Tempelhof airfield/park is just across the street. That place is awesome.
I wish the room could have been cooler. It was very very hot. There was no fan in there. That would have made the stay a little bit more pleasant.
For the price, the hotel is what I expected. The room was clean but small and free breakfast was included with my stay. Breakfast was good, which made my stay. The hotel staff was friendly and I felt safe at this hotel. The location is close to the U, but not close to any major attractions. For the price, you'll get a clean but small room, similar to a dorm room.
The hotel did not have A/C and was very dark and small. It was a good place to sleep overnight, but not a place I would recommend for a long period of time.
The hotel is just across from Tempelhof Airport (which has tours) and is a few stops from Berlin city centre. It has a good buffet breakfast and good free wifi. Two streets down is a wealth of restaurants for many dinner options. Overall, excellent value.
Situated close to a U-bahn station. Easy to get to the Berlin sights and the city center.
Situated close to a major traffic junction especially at night it was hard to get a good nights sleep or to fall asleep at all. There were ambulances or fire-engines passing the junction several times every hour of the night and when driving through they always put their sirens on. This happened every night! (We stayed for 4 nights.) The hotel was built at a 90 degree angle to an adjoining block of flats. For us this meant that our bedroom window was just 2 meters away from the nearest flat´s balcony. The people living there used it as their smoking area. With Berlin having a heat-wave at the time, we just had to have the windom open a bit. Result: smoke in our room. And the smokers liked to sit talking and smoking at least until 01.30 a.m. - 2 meters from our window ! Our room was on the 2nd floor and on the ground floor of the adjoining building, there was a Brazilian bar in which (and also outside of course) there was partying going on until at least 2.30 a.m. Singing, dancing and SHOUTING all the time through evening and night 3 of our 4 nights at the hotel. We wished we had choosen a more quiet hotel !
