Concorde Hotel am Studio  

I had a great stay. The staff really goes out of their way to accomodate you when you have any requests or questions. When I arrived in the room I noticed that there only were down pillows and duvets in the room (I am allergic), I went to the reception to ask if they had any synthetic bedding and within 10 minutes one of their staff members delivered it to my room. When I am at a place for only a few nights I usually hang the "Do not disturb" sign on my door as I don't find it nesecarry that they change the towels or linnen for only a short stay - Every night I was surprised by a bag of new towels hanging on the door knob, a nice touch eventhough I did not need them or use them! I liked how the furniture in the room was streamlined and compact so that eventhough the room was not that big, it didn't seem small. It was nice that the bathroom has been renovated, and that it really does stay steam free and dry when you take a long shower. The breakfast has a decent spread and the breakfast room has a nice view over the city.

The minibar didn't cool, but this was only a minor detail as I didn't need it after the first day.

i would suggest it to anybody who wants cheap accommodation. we booked when it was in offer price 87 euros for 3 nights. it is clean, there was cleaning service every day. the metro station is not even 4 minutes on foot, and it takes 40-45 minutes to alexanderplatz by U2.

The staff was very friendly at any moment and even when the hotel is not in the touristic area, it is near (berlin is a big city) to the underground network and you can get all the atraccion in a few minutes. The area is also quiet and you can find a grocery store and restaurants very close. The breakfast was good everyday, varied and of good quality, the breakfast room is in the 7 floor so you have a good view of Berlin. If you are thinking to visit Berlin this is a good option to stay.

The only thing I did not like was that the room was a bit small and my husband complained about the " very soft pillows".

Good location near conference

Easy to find from Kaiserdamm Ubhan. Modern furnishings and reasonable size bedrooms and bathrooms. English spoken, (tried my German but I am still learning). Appreciate the breakfast served from 6am to 10am including Sundays. Plenty of food on offer. Very handy if on a budget.

No evening dinner, (knew when I booked but as I arrived about 8pm I had to do a bit of a scout around to find some nosh).

Staff is efficient and very friendly. Location is good, just 5 minutes by underground to central West Berlin. For the price that you pay, this is a great hotel - basis standard rooms, but all you need and breakast is just excellent. For budget travellers , this is highly recommended - I sure will return here.

A little hot at night, but able to open window,bath leaking so that had to keep tap running but plently of hot water and this was apparently a problem of the 7th floor!

3-4 min. walking to public transport-ubahn, sbahn and bus. Very kind staff. Very good breakfast and excellent view from breakfast room on 7 floor- realy "himmel über Berlin" We were stay in many Berlin hotels and this for comparing money and service- is excellent.

Great value for money. 300 m far from underground station. Very nice and clean room

We reserved a double bed but we got two single put one beside the other.

nice and tidy rooms, very polite front desk people. about 3 minutes walking distance to the nearest subway station. price-value!
