Hotel Concorde  

It's location was very close to the center of the city making it easy to get around to see the sites; it's 3 blks. from the Hofbrau Haus, very convenient location. The hotel only serves breakfast which was ample; there was no bar or restaurant on site but lots to choose from in the neighborhood.

Our room was downstairs and below street level with no elevator to get up and down, so luggage was a struggle. Also, the smell of smoke from cigarettes was noticeable both downstairs and in the lobby, since people stood outside the front door to smoke. Our room was non-smoking but there was an ashtray included in the decor.

Very friendly staff, and great breakfast.

Our room faced the street and it was very warm during the nights. Our option was to either keep the window open and be woken up by people on the sidewalk, or keep them closed and have the room heat up. Having a small room fan would have helped.

Very good balance between price and quality, which met my expectations. Very close to Marienplatz and all city centre.

It was located at a walking distance from Marienplatz but in a quiet street. The rooms where clean. The breakfast buffet was good but nothing special.

One of the girls at the reception was pretty arrogant. The rest of the staff was ok. There was no safe in the rooms. There was very little pressure in the shower. No wifi at the hotel which nowadays is a big issue.

Very clean. Staff helpful and friendly also very efficient. The location was excellent as it is so central yet it was quiet except in the hotel, there was a neighbour with heavy footsteps who woke me up. During the snowstorm the room was warm but the air got very dry. It would have been even better if there was a bar in the hotel for a drink or coffee in the evening. All in all it was an excellent hotel for my purpose . I will go there again.

What I like most about Hotel Concorde was the location. The breakfast and the cleanliness of the room were also a nice surprise.

The breakfast was included in the hotel rate and it was a decent continental breakfast, however, no sausages or bacon I am afraid but well worth eating anyway;-) The rooms were a good size and very comfortable however, we did miss having tea/coffee making facilities in the room and the only English chanel on the television was CNN news but hey ho, you don't go on holiday to watch the TV!

Overpriced for a 4 stars hotel. Room for breakfast too small.

Close, clean, good breakfast

Its a 4 star hotel but could be a little cheaper (comparing to other cities). But very nice anyway!
