It's location was very close to the center of the city making it easy to get around to see the sites; it's 3 blks. from the Hofbrau Haus, very convenient location. The hotel only serves breakfast which was ample; there was no bar or restaurant on site but lots to choose from in the neighborhood. Our room was downstairs and below street level with no elevator to get up and down, so luggage was a struggle. Also, the smell of smoke from cigarettes was noticeable both downstairs and in the lobby, since people stood outside the front door to smoke. Our room was non-smoking but there was an ashtray included in the decor.

This is centrally located to "Old Town". If you are an able walker, even the museum district is only 15 minutes away. This section of town certainly feels extremely safe (are there any "bad" parts of Munich?).

Location and breakfast were excellant. Our room window looked out over a court yard...quiet and pretty. Loved the sound of tweeting birds. Rooms were tiny, as expected. Beds were very narrow and not very comfortable, they were saggy and the sides broken down from people sitting on them which made the sleeper slide to the side. Felt like a bed you would have in a camping dorm room. The sheets initially looked and felt like disposable paper...not a smooth weave, scratchy. There was no ventilation option. No temperature control or vents. Hot and stuffy. Would recommend only for location and price.

Central location, good breakfast and friendly staff. Rooms somewhat outdated and wifi should really be free of charge in 2012 - you currently pay € 5 / hour - which is theft.

Excellent breakfast. Very clean rooms. Location to the main tourist area a big plus. Five minutes to the large market, around the corner from the Hofbrauhaus biergarten. Very close to access the S-Bahn, U-Bahn and city tram lines. The morning desk clerk was extremely unfriendly and discourteous. She has little patients for guests that do not speak her language. She gets flustered by this and it shows. Not good. However, the evening desk clerk was fantastic, and extremely helpful. Had a room on the first floor, on the main street. The hotel has no air conditioning and the room was extremely hot, even with the heat turned off. The only way to cool the room was to open the windows. Being at the first floor level, on the main street, not very comforting and very loud. A big disadvantage.

Excellent location to visit Munchen for business, shopping or city trip. Private underground parking (but it is not for big cars) The price for a quite small room is a bit high.

The only 2 things that we liked about this hotel are location and relatively big room we stayed. Breakfast was fair, but nothing special, smallest plates and glasses you can imagine. There is no way it’s a 4 stars hotel!!! Very simple and basic amenities and service. Upon arrival we even considered to check into another hotel in the area, but counting we had a little guy travelling with us we stayed in Concorde. If you are looking for at least some luxury and comfort go somewhere else.

It was located at a walking distance from Marienplatz but in a quiet street. The rooms where clean. The breakfast buffet was good but nothing special. One of the girls at the reception was pretty arrogant. The rest of the staff was ok. There was no safe in the rooms. There was very little pressure in the shower. No wifi at the hotel which nowadays is a big issue.
