very bad location, within a dodgy area in the neighbourhood, noisy, dodgy people lurking around everywhere.
We paid 50 euros for one night in Frankfurt which is an excellent price considering other hotels next to main train station. Clean. The staff speaks english although I read comments saying the opposite. It's true that few junkies were next to the hotel. You've to choose between junkies or massive groups of drunk tourist visiting the red district in Frankfurt... The bathroom was amazing, specially the big bath tub.
Everything was perfect for 50 euros
The Hotel is very close to Bahnhof Station and very very close to Alt Theatre and the center. It is very easy to go anywhere from Hotel.
The hotel is close of many nightclubs and seems to be a little bit dangerous there.
Nearness to the Hauptbahnhof
The drug addicts by the hotel
Price, location (walking distance to the city center, messe, train station), room was clean. Good for individual traveller. Police is patrolling street all the time.
A bit noisy street, don't recommend for travellers with kids
NO iron? They need to have this basic facility being a business hotel...
Helpful and friendly attitude of the staff, cleanliness, good breakfast.
The hotel is located next to a drug centre, in the evening the sidewalk is full of drug addicts, even openly using on the spot. Another drawback: the wifi didn't work, so no internet connection.
In the red light district
It was dirty, the hotel was located in a bad area surrounded by junkies outside of the main entrance, prostitutes and drug dealers. Also next door was a "sex hotel" the name says it all. The staff was rude, aggressive and too busy with some kind of religious ceremony that was taking place in the lobby. Also they hardly spoke german or english. I expressed that i didnt feel comfortable staying there and that i worried for my safety and they said that they didnt care and refused to refund my money. Bookings customer service wasnt able to help me either. Do Not Stay Here!!!!
there is a heroin clinic next door and the staff were fairly rude. The place is dirty and was not a great start to my trip. Also what is with the Chinese bibles all over the place?? very strange place..
Breakfast was o.k. for the price we´ve paid. Room was VERY small but o.k. Very nice and friendly staff at the breakfast room (rumanians or other eastern europeans)
Neighbourhood was AWFUL! Heroinjunkies right in front of our hotel injecting drugs, prostitutes, drunk people and redlight bars directly beside the hotel, police cars driving around all night asking the drug addicts to leave by megaphone, all receptionists were chinese with very very poor german knowledge, no english at all, last day of stay chinese receptionist called us at 7:30 h to attend breakfast NOW since we were the only guests in the hotel this day and they wanted to finish. We thought of sleeping in this day, no way of doing so. Unbelievable unfriendly the reception staff. We asked for 2 forks and a knife on the first day and it was nearly impossible to get it. Only when I started to complain loudly and clearly about missing service he got us the cuttlery. We definitely would NOT recommend this hotel at all and don´t plan to book it again EVER! We prefer to pay a bit more but feel well and safe instead of not welcome and surrounded by junkies. What a terrible experience!
Terrible location - in the middle of the red light district. Drugs on the street. Really unsafe feeling outside. Noisy.... which is in combination with a very hard bed not the best way of relaxing. No working WiFi...
Good location if you are visiting Frankfurt messe.
Hotel was dirty, smelly and really humid/damp rooms. Street where the hotel is located is popular among drug addicts and other junkies. Didnt feel safe there.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Central location. Hot water is actually hot and not luke warm. The shower worked very well. When I stayed there a year ago, there wasn't any English speaking TV channel and I mentioned this to management and suggested they should at least offer BBC World, this time, they did have BBC World. They listen to their customers, which is very rare these days.
Whilst the Hotel is conveniently located (not far from Frankfurt central train station) the street it is in is adjacent to the red light district and 100 yards further down the road to the left, there is a crowd of drug addicts on the street. Having stayed in this hotel before, I knew about this and I always left the hotel to the right to avoid passing through that crowd. It is not a serious issue as police are constantly patrolling the area, its just a nuisance, but a manageable nuisance.
outdated furnishings and tatty decorations in the corridors
Good place, Very convenient.
Not very safe outside if you go out at night. I saw people fighting at mid night.
Staff spoke poor English Photos were misleading No wifi was available for the duration of our stay Unbearable street noise until 2am Very limited breakfast selection for those not wishing to have a Chinese breakfast Very bad value for money We will not be staying here again
very hard to communicate in English with the Staff. Except Leo, most of the staff was quite unwelcoming and unfriendly. Breakfast is limited- the choice is Chinese & German food. You have to stand up every 5 minutes to go and pick fork, knifes, sugar, plates, serviettes. there is only 1 toaster for all the guests.. breakfast finishes at 9h00 location is not recommended ( Red light district) I was on 5th Floor, the lift only goes to 4th Floor, not easy to find how to get with the stairs from 4th to 5th. I could not find my way out, I had to use the emergency exit, 5 floors with my suitcase.
It was the cheapest at the time
Its located in a dodgy spot but nothing happened
There was nothing to like in this hotel. I will never never go tO this hotel only their was hot water for a bath nothing else
1. Gave the room on 5 floor. Lift goes till the 4 floor. Carry the bag to fifth floor on the wooden stairs. 2 Roomhad no T.V. 3 one small window on the roof. 4 For 150 Euro without breatfast Very expensive. 5 felt very unconfortable in the room . As it was quiet freigthing on fifthfloor in the corner room.
Nothing,I want my money back. I have used Booking.com for many years this is not your stile. Do not recommend this to anyone.I am really mad about this. Hope to hear from you soon. Br.Allan
Awful mattresses, couldn't sleep all night. Also, the hotel lied about wifi - it did not work throughout my stay. The owners don't really seem to care either that they are promising internet but not actually delivering (there are some other reviews making this point too). They won't help you in any way (i.e. by providing an iron) and all the emergency signs even are in Chinese: imagine if there was an emergency.
internet not working
-good position (around 700m from the main station) -the room was clean
- definitely too expensive for the services offered - the staff could have at least showed me where my room was, and not just sent me with some indications - the heating didn´t work - almost every information was written in chinese (yes the hotel is managed by chinese people, which is ok, but it is located in Germany....)
