Congress Hotel am Stadtpark  

Good access to public transport. Pool works now completed is now a regular favourite of mine.

Not all rooms have ac & windows only open part way on upper floors. Can uncomfortable on hot nights and noise from tram can be disturbing.

Easy access by road. Free car park undercover. Only 3.5 miles from the Messe Exhibition centre. Underground stop only a few meters away.

In the restaurant they could not accept any of my payment cards, although in the hotel there was no problem.

Good breakfast, quite often tram to city from 300 m distance

Comfortable room

Very noisy at nighttime. both from other rooms with people arriving at all sorts of hours, and from outside early in the morning. the room was also rather airless!

I participated to a conference at hcc, right by the hotel. The forest and the park very close by were great. I have done lots of running and walking besides the conference.

I did not like two things:(1) the room did not have a coffee maker - I had to work late at night and some coffee would have been great. Please put a coffee maker in the room and get the tv out instead. (2) the room did not have free internet connection - why?

Very friendly and professional staff, wonderful breakfast buffet.

Poor food in the attached "Gilde Keller"

Generally speaking it was good. Not very far from the center (Hauptbahnhof, Kropke) as seems from the 1st view on the map (about 10-12 min by bus or tram). Room wasn't big (i booked single), but ok, well-maintained and looked fresh. I would say that taking money for internet (even if it is not much, 1 euro per hour) is "funny" for the hotel that wants to be considered as business. Going downstairs to sign the paper and pick up the password is not convinient if late evening or early morning. Moreover, internet connection interrupts very often. I would recommend to put more TV channels as they are practically all german. But I would say that hotel is ok as well as other reviews on this site, and value for money during the fair period. Das Frühstück ist für 16 EUR sehr übersichtlich!

Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, ruhige Lage, dennoch verkehrsgünstig zu City und Autobahn. Familien mit Kindern dürfte die Nähe des Erlebniszoos entgegenkommen.

Unfreundlicher Service im Bar/Restaurantbereich und im Wellness/ Sauna Bereich. Sauna und Duschen könnten sauberer und moderner sein / Ruheraum sehr ungemütlich.

Chambre suffisamment spacieuse. Petit déjeuner excellent et très varié ! avec la bonne idée de faire un pack business : Petit dej. seul = 16€, petitdej+Wifi 18€. Si l'on compte un Wifi souvent à 10€ par jour, cela fait un petit déjeuner enfin abordable.Bravo.

Literie à amélioré. TV tube.

De vernieuwde kamers zijn mooi ingericht. Perfect sanitair en propere kamers. Aangename wellnessruimte met zwembad en sauna's. Uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet.

Hotelrestaurants zijn onder niveau. Er is een mogelijkheid te eten aan de bar, maar daar wordt voorrang gegeven aan de drankklanten. Kwaliteit is ondermaats. In het congresrestaurant is het aangenaam vertoeven, maar de kwaliteit van het eten is ooit wel beter geweest. Momenteel is het niet meer aangepast aan de prijs/kwaliteit van het hotel. Een afrader. In de buurt zijn eenvoudiger, maar betere restaurants te vinden.
