perfect location for shopping and eating.
Beautiful, large enough rooms. Good service. Always friendly staff.
The hotel parkin is a bit messy
Very helpful reception staff. Cleanliness of the room.
Quality of the fried and scrambled eggs at breakfast. The breakfast coffee The noise of the Monday morning recycling outside of the room.
Nice location, Many restaurants nearby.
The location of the hotel is good, only a couple of minutes walk from the main shops, bars and restaurants. The receptionist was extremely professional and the staff in the dining room were always happy to help.
We booked a Junior Suite, while the room was big and the shower great, the entire room needed to be painted and the room felt quite clinical, not four star in my opinion. Do not sleep at the front if you want to leave the windows open as you will be kept awake by people passing by all night long.
My room was at the back of the hotel was very quiet indeed. Just what is needed for a good night's sleep. The breakfast was ideal for me Cereal, & fruit. There wasn't' a huge selection for a cooked breakfast that didn't bother me.
I would have given an excellent mark for staffing, unfortunately I felt unable to do so as one of the frontline staff wasn't very helpful. On checking out she didn't even ask how our stay had been. Later on when we picked up our luggage she didn't even look up & acknowledge our presence. However, all the other staff we had contact with were helpful.
We are actually planned to go south over to Zermatt, Switzerland.. . Instead , we check out Liechestein , pick up the car and stay a weekend in Konstanz.. nothing is cheap there during the Firework festival. but it is worth of a weekend , friday and saturday there.. Good breakfast.
Make sure you get a room facing the backyard as it was exteremely lound at night.
A welcoming hotel with helpful and serviceminded staff. A great roof terrace and nice rooms. The hotel is very close to city centre but still has nice surroundings.
The brekfast buffet is not AS exciting as the rest og the hotel, but still fulfills normal needs.
- clean and nice room - a lovely cat is living at the garage
-car park space is limited
Ensuite bathroom with partially opaque glass doors.
Tissues box was replaced the second day (empty) Not enough shower gel (almost empty)
Location was great, right near pedestrian area with lots of stores and restaurants, breakfast was good, safe parking next to hotel (it did cost 10 euros a day, but it's the best option in that area).
Internet was very slow, even at non-peak hours it was bad. The staff couldn't manage to open the breakfast on time. Yes, it might have only been 5 minutes, but if you state that it will open at 7 it should be open at 7 (or even a couple of minutes earlier). It just seemed like they were stressed and overwhelmed with getting it all ready. Then, this guy came into our room an hour before check-out and started cleaning the room, even though we weren't ready yet and just carrying stuff to the car. We also had the don't disturb sign on the door. When I told him we weren't ready yet, he just stood there rather akward until the manager happened to walk by and told him to get out.
The bathroom was beautiful but too open for comfort to share with family
Reasonably located. Clean and well designed. Staff were courteous and helpful.
Room was quite cramped.
Great location close to old town, easy walk to all sites, restaurants and harbour. English speaking staff. Extremely comfortable bed and room cleaned daily - a pleasant surprise. We mde good use of free bus pass to get around, especially out to ferry which we took across the lake to Meerburg. Secure parking at 10euro/day was great.
Lack of air conditioning could bee an issue in warmer months. We were able to open windows which unfortunately allowed some nigtime noise to interupt sleep. Enquire about alternate rooms - we face the front.
Room was very good & location great. Staff friendly.
Felt sorry for the breakfast waiting team who were rushed off there feet.
- This is a good 3* hotel, but I would not rate it as 4* - Beeakfast is flabby
Good breakfast Good Location Nice room´ Parking place
Little light in the bathroom
Great location, stylish apprtenances, attentive staff. Free WiFi, and parking in a private lot at a reasonable rate.
Complimentary breakfast was abundant, but not as fresh or hot as one could wish, even early in the a.m. Coffee verged on the undrinkable.
Bathroom is separate from the room with a glass door. The look is very modern but it lacks privacy as well.
Very clean and newly renovated room. Most comfortable bed of the trip (out of 4). Excellent breakfast including hot and cold options - could even order capuccino to accompany breakfast! Good location just on the edge of the city and in walking distance to everything.
The glass bathroom door left little to the imagination of your room mate so you want to make sure that you know your room mate intimately before the trip....
- room was modern, clean, very practical with lots of storage cabinets - quiet environment - private parking - nice breakfast - friendly staff
