Hotel Continental    

The location couldn't be better, right opposite Bonn main station and beside the bus stop serving Koln-Bonn airport.

It's in the most ghastly building in Bonn, which is so offensive that it should be demolished! Once you get inside, however, it's fine.

I really liked the location, it was very clean, breakfast. It was just perfect

I liked the perfect location (the hotel is located just opposite to Bonn's main train station). The pedestrian area of the central Bonn just over the corner! The hotel is clean, with good breakfasts and free WiFi access.

I have felt a little bit the noise of trains.

It is extremely well kept. Better inside than outside (or internet photos)! Great breakfast. Excellent value for money and perfect location for train, bus and taxi users.

Great location, very cosy and comfortable rooms (with nice candies on the pillow :) and I enjoyed truly the restaurant on the top floor - a nice view and perfect breakfast. The staff was very friendly and helpful - I deffinetly would recommend and come again to this hotel.

Central Location of Hotel was perfect. Staff very friendly and offered Support as required.

Around the Train Station area, there were a lot of homless persons. But no danger to anyone, but intimidating maybe to some People.

the location of the hotel is not so clear.I got lost around 10 mins just in front of the hotel. the lobby was so dark and the hallway near my room was too dark to open my door,I almost shrieked in front of my door. the safety around hotel should be concerned

the room was big enough to me and also there was a large bath room was clean breakfast was good too

It's location is excellent

The decor is dreadful, there is a transparent glass bathroom door which is totally unsuitable. There was only one towel in the bathroom and the bed linen was in very poor condition, also the spare pillow did not have a pillowcase

High quality. Great breakfast. Great service and friendly staff. Good location (just across from train station). Parking close by in public lot was easier and less expensive (free from 8pm to 9am) than I expected.

I am sensitive to noise, and could hear the trains that pass without stopping through the train station throughout the evening and night.

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was very accommodating during a difficult situation. They were always friendly. The location was close to the main square Munsterplatz, and convenient to Bonn train station.

There was not a lot to like - I think previous reviews have written that the breakfast is good because it is the only thing that is good about this hotel. However, the service at the hotel is OK, it is not anything to rave about the people were approachable but appeared to have very little interest in guests. If you are looking for a budget hotel (that is not 4 stars) and you don't mind noise, small rooms and limited facilities then this is the place for you but keep in mind,,,, you get what you pay for!

This hotel has potential to be better than what it currently is and there is a lot of scope for improvement. For instance, as photographs suggest there is a lovely terrace on the roof BUT it is totally inaccessible other than during the breakfast hours in the summer. The terrace is situated behind the breakfast room which is locked after breakfast finishes each day at 10.30am so it is a completely wasted asset that would be a nice place to enjoy a coffee or glass of wine or beer at the end of a day. The reason being, the bar at the entry of the hotel appears to be decorative - I did not see it as being available to guests or used; it seems to be just for show. The room I was generously allocated is designated a "suite" because it is bigger than other rooms and not because it has anything extra such as tea and coffee making facilities (this is a big deficit and another aspect that could improve the quality of the hotel). I had a look at the another room and was glad I had been given this room because other "standard rooms" are very small. However, the room I was given was beside the breakfast room and faced the bus station, tram stop and railway station.... I had poor sleep due to having to have earplugs jammed in my ears for 3 nights. The noise from the bus station, trams, fast trains and the loud-speaker on the train platform was very disruptive and I cannot understand why the windows are not double glazed.

Really great hotel in a fabulous location. The hotel is nicely fitted out and I found the staff to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good. My room was pleasant, with a comfortable bed. I'd highly recommend this hotel.
