One informed English speaking staff Restaurant was good and reasonable food
Room flooded, soaked our belongings no heat shower had black mold and was cracked smelled of smoke noisy can hear everything
We got a refund on our unsued days when we couldn't stand the place and decided to leave.
We were put in a very substandard room by the night desk clerk when we arrived approximately 19:00 hr. Three out of four lights were burned out making the room impossible to function in. No remote control for the TV. We couldn't even get the TV to turn on manually. The room had a bad odor too. My husband went back to discuss the rooms deficits and see if things could be remedied or perhaps another room altogether might be available. My husband was told there were no more available rooms, the clerk could fill out a maintenance request about the lights, and he'd see if he could find us a remote. Discouraged, but tired we unpacked. Later, the desk clerk knocked on our door and provided a remote for the TV, but it still didn't work. He also took us to another room which meant we had to pack up and move. The second room was actually worse than the first room. It was much smaller, equally low lighting but the worst thing was the condition of the bathroom. Moldy shower with pealing paint was totally disgusting. The draft around the windows was terrible too. While lying in bed you could see the curtains wave as the wind outside blew. We made it through the night but refused to shower. Had a talk with the day time desk clerk about leaving the place and requesting a refund. This clerk couldn't apologize enough for the rooms we were put in and assured us that they had several fully renovated rooms available if we would just stay. But we had already decided to move on to better accommodations. I've entitled this review, "Bait and Switch" because I highly suspect that when the night clerk saw in his computer that we were Booking.com customers he decided to put us in the substandard rooms and keep the newly renovated rooms for customers who would pay full price. I hope this is not what was going on but wanted your organization to know what we experienced. We have used Booking.com several times and this has been our only disappointing experience.
Nothing.....There was nothing to like IT WAS TERRIBLE
This hotel should have been demolished a long time ago and saved unsuspecting travellers the pain and discomfort of a miserable stay
Internet connection sometimes was poor, there was need to register with facebook or email to use internet :/
We chose this hotel because it was close to the Hbf (station). It was fairly close.
Very mediocre hotel
Short walk next to train station Very helpful staffsubmit
Breakfast minimal Restaurant outside entrance so very smokey to enter or exit hotel Room chilly-heat not on yet submit
no cleanliness, no coordination among staff, very poor wifi
Good location. Nice outdoor seating for the restaurant in front of and around the side of the hotel lobby.
Run down common areas. Sparsely furnished room.
Near the train station, but not noisy. Breakfast included.
Could't expect much comfort, it's a cheap hotel. Suits the budget traveler well.
Beds were comfy. Room was clean.
No shower curtain.. Made for an awkward shower.
Convenient location next door to main railway station. We had a room at the back so there was no noise.
Price, good breakfast
A little dated. A bit noisy
no private parking
Close to the train station (convenient for departure) and had a great restaurant just outside the front door. Our room was comfortable, but the "3rd" bed, unusable (lumpy mattress uncomfortable).
THE NOISE! OMG trains all night long, people sitting at the restaurant, honking, emergency and delivery vehicles. Lots of street noise. No AC so the windows needed to be open. A bit too far from the city center. No place to securely store items. The shower stall was curtained and the plumbing in a bad spot (move arm, turn off, cold or hot).
Walking distance from the train station, courteous and helpful staff, good food in the restaurant and continental breakfast.
Room was rather cold, room heaters were not working.
The Internet access did not work on the 5th floor, which is not fair for guests who get rooms on the 5th floor. Secondly, and very important, there's no parking space for the hotel.
The hotel is in the midst of major refurbishment. Initially we were allocated a room which had a few shortcomings. As soon as I brought these to the attention of the staff I was immediately offered a change of room. The second room was wonderful. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay there in Koblenz.
There was no lounge area for hotel guests. Breakfast was satisfactory but there was no hot food on offer. No safe in bedroom.
Location to train station, the old town, and the river.
Was not good at all Old and not clean if u open the window the sound will not make u sleep
the internet is very slow
The location is very convent to the train station
The hotel stated it had wifi but this was very spasmodic and difficult to log into. The shower was not hot and very little pressure. The rooms are very dated. The restaurant food okay but staff Poor and unable to use card even though attached to hotel.
Near central station but quiet enough
I stayed 2 nights and the first Morning/day, they didn't make Up/ clean my room.
Just infront of the train station and surrounded by resto/cafe.
Close to transportation, food and shopping.
We had to keep the windows closed due to heavy traffic outside, and there wasn't a fan to stay cool.
