Corbin Feng Shui Business Hotel  

This is a crumby overpriced hotel. While it claims to be an up-market business hotel, with a particular emphasis on Feng Shui, it is in reality a cheap motel with no special features. The internet was not working during my two-night stay. The water in the shower took more than 5 minutes to warm up. The soap/shampoo in the bathrooms is of the refillable, liquid type, in a squeezy bottle fixed to the wall (a sure sign of cheapness!). The coffee at breakfast was made with UHT milk. And worst of all, the little paper seal on my complimentary bottle of water was broken (both days) which leads me to believe that the bottle is refilled from the tap each day! All of this for Euro 110 per night.

Clean, modern, essential. Bed very comfortable and good breakfast.

We arrived at the hotel late, the staff was friendly and helpful pointing us to the garage (parking is eur 7 extra though). The mini bar was free to use and included in the price. So was the breakfast. A sensational buffet!!! Eggs and omlettes are made to order.

Only minus was that the aircon was not working and it was not pointed out to us during check in either.

Usual very comfortable experience at the Corbin Feng Shui but do pay the extra for a ("comfort") room that is not at the front of the hotel; we did have a bad experience on one occasion last year with noisy guests sitting out on the decking area until very late at night. Safe storage for bicycles in the underground garage.

Staff friendliness

1) Bathrooms have glass wall (fortunately not transparent) and it is impossible to take a shower without disturbing your partner or child. 2) Door of the bathrooom can't be locked (there is no lock built in). I don't know which safety it brings but my son came in when I was naked, because he knows very well that bathroom door is locked when necessary. 3) Too hot rooms. When you open the window you hear noise from the street where cars are even at night. 4) At breakfast you need to choose hot dishes from some kind of menu, which are on the tables. We didn't know it, nobody advised us or asked for our choice (at least when they asked about coffee...) and we discovered this only at the end of breakfast, so there were no time for preparation. 5) We came at 21.00 at Saturday but there is no even bar in the 4stars hotel!!! Fortunately in the next building we found very good pizzeria with very friendly italian owner. 6) Parking!!! I have never seen so tight and strange underground parking. I spent a lot of time trying to understand what I need to do in order to open doors. I pushed button with bell a lot of times, but nobody says something or come to help me. Seems that this bell doesn't ring at all - and I was locked between 2 doors!!!

Höchstnoten für Personal, Einrichtung, Sauberkeit, Lage, eigentlich für alles!

Es fällt mir absolut nichts ein!

Sehr kompetente Mitarbeiterinnen, Extrawünsche wie Fahrradverleih etc.

Sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Insgesamt ein sauberes, aufgeräumtes Hotel. Gratis Minibar - zur Abreise gibt es sogar noch eine Flasche Mineralwasser dazu. Geräumige Tiefgarage über Autoaufzug zu erreichen.

Toilette unter dem Rand extrem verschmutzt-hier wurde ewig nicht gereinigt. Daher ein modriger Abwasserrohrgeruch im Zimmer. Als Ausgleich hat man einen elektrischen Duftspender installiert mit einem Duft nach Mottenpulver - unangenehm. Der Hausmeister öffnet ohne anzuklopfen die Zimmertür und ist in keinster Weise der deutschen Sprache mächtig.

Das Frühstück war der Gesamtsituation entsprechend. Mit Ausnahme der Brötchen. Diese selbst gebacken. Frische Bäckerbrötchen sind anders.

Frühstück bietet frische Eiervarianten (Omlette, Spiegelei, Rührei mit und ohne Schinken oder Speck), eine Auswahl an Kaffeespezialitäten (Latte M. Cap., Espresso,...) sowie Lactose- und glutenfreie Produkte

7€ Hoteleigene Parkgebühren- das muß nicht sein

Das Hotel ist ganz in der Nähe der Altstadt von Freising gelegen. Das Äußere, die Räumlichkeiten und die Zimmer sind sehr ansprechend. Eine Flasche Mineralwasser und der Inhalt der Minibar stehen kostenlos zur Verfügung! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Mit dem Fühstück im "Feng-Shui-Stil-Raum" waren wir sehr zufrieden. Wo bekommt man sonst noch Champagner zum Frühstück? Und die Eierspeisen (auch die gekochten Eier) wurden jeweils individuell zubereitet. Das Angebot (auf Nachfrage) für eine Übernachtung mit Frühstück inkl. max. 21 Tage Parken in der Tiefgarage und einem Shuttle zum Flughafen München könnte einem direkt verleiten, demnächst einen Flug ab München zu buchen.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer nach Süden und haben darunter gelitten, dass es sehr warm war (selbst bei moderater Außentemperatur). Nun kann man die Klimaanlage anschalten, die ist aber zum Schlafen etwas laut. Die Alternative "Fenster öffnen" hat den Nachteil, dass Lärm von der benachbarten Wippenhäuser Straße kommt. Wir haben letztlich das kleinere Übel des Fensteröffnens gewählt. Was wir nicht nur bei diesem Hotel in letzter Zeit immer mehr zu bemängeln haben, ist, dass der Kunststoffanteil im Bett (Matratzenbezug, Matratzenauflage, Füllung von Zudecke und Kopfkissen) zunimmt. Mein nächtlicher Feuchtigkeitshaushalt kommt jedenfalls immer mehr in Unordnung. Ob sich das mit "Feng Shui" in Einklang bringen lässt??
