Score from 350 reviews Good
After I cleaned the room myself, it represented EXCELLENT value for money. Very conveniently situated.
Constant smell of cigarette smoke from the room opposite. Doors banged loudly. Room opposite kept late hours and were very noisy when coming in at 4am for the 3 days I was there.
Nice location and venue
I did like the style of the hotel, the food, and the fact that is was clean.
The staff did not speak english! It was hard to communicate with them.. i really dislike this
The room (booked as room with shower) was so extremely small that it was uncomfortable to stay in, with small window behind the shower cabin, toilet far away from room. Customer should be informed before about such conditions. What if I would suffer from claustrophobia?
Good location, friendly staff, tasty breakfast.
No toilet in the room, at least in mine there was no toilet.
In good location with basic facilities being sufficient for my purposes which was not to sit in a hotel room.
Being asked to pay the full three day costs up front. I have stayed here on about three other occasions and not been rquired to pay the whole cost up front.
Well located, check-out until 12:00, good internet connection.
Everything else. The room was small, old, badly laid out and not particularly clean - hairs in the shower, the inside of the plastic cup had brown (coffee, I hope) stains. The curtains didn't close properly and there was no desk or table to work on. The only bathroom was very far away and I was woken at 7 from noise coming from the reception. Loads of stairs to get to the reception, which is problematic if you have heavy bags.
Service not good, my room was not clean
the buffet in breakfast
The Location of the hotel is good, but service is not so good. You know that towels are exchanged per 4 days. So, you must use two(long and short) towels during 4 days.
THE LOCATION WAS GOOD
TE ROOM WAS TOO SMALL
the persons, who is working in the reception
room facility, surouding is old and bad.
The pension rooms are old fashion but they are well maintained. Wide rooms.
The staff speak bad or no english at all including at the reception.
Breakfast is good. location is nice and a lot of restaurant around. S-bahn in nearby.
Stairs without any elevator to take the luaggage. Unfriendly staff that cant speak English at all, difficult to communicate. Several days issue on the shower in one of my colleague's room No privacy in the glass shower room for twin room...strange.
wi-fi in the room
very weak insonnorization from street and other rooms; reception unable to provide support on basic City information
We had stayed at another hotel someone booked for us, and then stayed here. We preferred this hotel over the fancier one. The bed was more comfortable and there was more space. Also the building was very histric and charming.
We left early for our flight and werent sure where to leave our keys. Theres no receptionist late at night or early morning.
La ubicacion es buena. it is situated not far away from the city center.
-The receptionist doesnt speak any languages, just german. -Wifi doesn't work, when i asked to the receptionist about wifi, She didnt take care and didnt do anythong to repair. Not helpfull receptionist. Bad atention
Location. I like Savignyplatz and the neighborhood.
My only complaint is that the receptionist could not seem to figure out how to access my American Express Credit Card. I had no problems with other hotels I stayed in. I had to pay for my room with cash. (No real big deal.)
The staff was so avaricious that they physically accosted me for putting water cooler water into a water bottle even though they were charging 46 Euro a night for a two star place.
Superb quiet location, friendly and helpful reception, easy access to public transport, functional WiFi, great breakfast (though pay extra). Found a cyber cafe nearby to print a page that i needed for my travel.
i was late to leave the room by 10 minutes.... one of the staff was knocking hard at the door while i go my bag ready.... she stood by the do in the room to "oversee" me leave the room!! (I guess she had a "bad day"..... the other staff well very friendly and helpful!! 2) reception is not 24hr/24hr
Smell on the floor (Nonesmoking hotel that smells like a smoking lounge... Carpets should really be exchanged)
Great value, rooms are clean and comfortable. Shower was clean, water was hot.
One toilet shared by a few too many people.
staff did not speak english at all - room booked via an international site, very small rooms, stayed for 5 days and they did not change sheets/towels
S-bahn station just round the corner, great surroundings with a lot of small and nice cafes. 10 minutes walk from Kurfürstendamm, 15 minutes walk from Deutsche Oper. Nice, quiet room.
The shower in the room and the shared toilet. Though this was in the room description, it is a rarely to be seen in the hotels that aspire to two stars. Also you should be aware that you have to climb a lot of steep stairs.
