Prinzregent by Centro Basic  

When i arrived i was informed that my room was flooded by a water leak, but they had relocated me for one night in a better hotel. This was true and they made all the arrangements up to collecting my bags the next morning. They were really helpful and made a difficult situation easy.

For the price it was what I expected and I would recommend it to anyone working on a budget.

Small bathroom but functional

My room was very noisy

The staffs are all nice.

The hotel is situated near an elevated road, so it's noisy. It's not soundproof wall. You hear your neighbor.

-Reasonable price, -location, -very close to the speedway (there's no need to lose your time for getting through the city trafic) -nice hotel staff -good breakfast included in the room rate

Nice hotel but located close to Autostrada - if you don't mind, this hotel is very good

Hotel Prinzregent is a good budget hotel for visiting Berlin. Its rooms and bathrooms are adequately spacious for a comfortable stay. Internet access is available, but you must access it on the ground floor of the hotel for the best Wi-Fi reception. International cable tv is available in the room. The hotel is located near the Bundesplatz U-bahn and S- train station. The staff of the hotel are very helpful and accommodating.

Breakfast was ok and the stuff was nice, helpful and friendly.

The room was very small, it wasn't clean, there was a lot of dust under the beds.The carpet was dirty and with stains. During winter and spring it is ok to stay there, because the windows protect you from the car's noise. During summer I think is impossible to sleep there, because the highway near the hotel is full of cars and the noise is very big.

Well in spite of the fact that the hotel is not located downtown, we still had a very good stay, everything was very clean, all new, the bathroom, eventhough small, very practical, clean and new! we were really surprided because we received a lot more for the $$$, I would 100% recommend it and im planning in staying there the next time I visit Berlin, or maybe ill stay at a hotel 100% downtown. but all depends, if im feeling in the mood in sharing the room with some other 8 ppl, sharing the bathroom and being uncomfortable, so i dunno, well see...

everything was just fine... my friend complained that the lady at the lobby was not very helpful and a little rude, but i guess she was just tired... everything else turned out great!

The young lady at the reception when I arrived (I could not find out what her name was) but she was utterly rude and she claimed to be the manager!!!!

Die Nähe zu öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln, störend ist die Nähe zum Stadtring (Autobahn)

Zimmer 4 ist stark renovierungsbedürftig und schmuddelig. Das Bad ist heruntergekommen ((verschmutzter Duschvorhang, nicht verschließbare Wannen-/Waschbeckenabflüsse, herabhängende Gardine, defekte Lampe etc.) M. E. hätte dieses Zimmer nicht an Reisende vermietet werden dürfen.
