The Standard room was superb - everything you needed was there. Tea and coffee making facilities. 7 items in the mini-bar for 6euros. The bed was really comfortable with decent pillows (and a choice of different fillings if the down and feather didn't suit), decent duvet, proper cotton bed linen. The air conditioning unit was really quiet. Garage parking was plentiful (though see further comment below). Swimming pool and exercise facilities were excellent. Staff were very polite and helpful and cheerful. Good breakfast. Parking at 19 euros a night was expensive. |

Service was very good and the room was clean. The hotel breakfast buffet was excellent. Even if we switched off the air conditionar, a bit cold air kept coming into the room. The room was a bit cold. |

This is the third time I've stayed at the Crowne Plaza and was very pleased again. There is construction going on in the lobby, but the room was excellent. The price was particularly good for a last minute booking. The price of the internet is very high. |

It was located near to the central of the city, but very quiet and clean. Staffs were kind and helpful, breakfast was also good. We could park our car free near to the hotel on the street. I strongly want to recommand this hotel to people. |

Good room, very clean with good facilities. Close to town, main centre only 10 minute walk. I would recommend as long as you breakfast in the town and are prepared to pay the very expensive parking. Very expensive breakfast (recommend you breakfast in the town as two can eat in the town for the same price as one beakfast in the hotel). Parking extremely expensive at 19 euro per night. |

We had a nice big room. The breakfast was also good. The reception staff was very unknowledgable about the city of heidelberg and especially its surroundings. When we asked about Schwetzingen and its remarkable palace gardens the staff did not know anything. Generally they did not have any ideas waht to recommend to see in the surroundings of Heidelberg. As for restaurants the impression was the same. When we asked to a Japanese restaurant with sushi they sent us to a small take away around the corner where we could not sit. Not what you are looking for when you are 6 people going out together, looking for a good night away. As for the housekeeper who cleaned our room (102) he ignored the do not disturb sign two times and entered the room. One of the times we were there. |

The room was too hot, making it difficult to sleep. We could open the window but it cut out the airco. The pillows on the bed were extremely soft, again, making it difficult to sleep. |
