Welcoming lobby; accommodating staff; room perfectly adequate for my needs although not as large as comparable rooms in the US. Main restaurant seemed unapproachable, especially for breakfast. Need to do a better marketing job, especially posting full menus in English. |

I liked that the hotel was central for sight seeing. I was disappointed that I was charged for milk which i requested for my tea in the bedroom. I prefer to have my tea with proper milk. As a seasoned traveler I have never been charged for milk before. |

the 3hour walking tour about the 3rd reich was very interesting and the main reason for our visit. The City was enjoyable and we had a comfortable hotel and pleasant stay. The Breakfast was very disappointing. The cooked food was cold and it seemed it was kept "warm" from the early hours! we were on holiday so we didn't want to get up and eat at 6.30am and went down about 9am which left us with the left overs!. Breakfast tables needed clearing and not a star rating.The hotel was, however, very clean and comfortable with no other complaints. |

Good location for shopping and the Berlin Zoo. Friendly and serviceminded staff. Clean (but rather outdated) room. The hotel is dated and really feels like a 3 star hotel from 1975, certainly not a 4 star hotel from 2009. The breakfast was bland, it really should be of higher quality for the price. Everything is ok, in general, but not more than that. We got a decent deal, but if we had paid the full price for our stay we would certainly not have been content. |

Hotel is in the city. Less than 10 minutes walk from train station where you can also take bus X9 or 109 to airport very cheaply and most importantly where you can start the Insider Tours Walk for Berlin. Ask for Tareq and you will ot regret it ! 5 mins walk to the Zoo. 5 mins walk to bigges shopping centre in Europe where the Hop on Hop off buses stop. 15 mins walk to Hard Rock Cafe. |

The room was clean and the room service good. The general hotel area was clean. The bars lacked any atmosphere. The food quality at breakfast was unhealthy (very high fat content as well as being excessively sweet). Tea was not hot enough. |

The staff were very friendly and the location was excellent for public transport facilites. Having booked a double room through booking.com we were put into a twin room and told that this was what a standard room was here. I felt we had been mislead by booking.com and the hotel refused to move us to a double room. |

Hotel location for my purpose was perfect .Located in City centre . Easy access to any public transport and also to Tegel Airport. Last night ,sheet and towels were not changed . |

The location in Berlin city for sightseeing is excellent. Not in too crowded an area though the busy shopping area and sightseeing buses very short walking distance Lack of BBC TV channel. Only very few English tv channels |

We were most impressed with the facilities in the bedrooms. The breakfast buffet was particularly good with a wide choice of fayre. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Drinks from the bar were very expensive |
