Location was great. Right in the centre/close to train station. Room was a decent size with plenty of drawer/cupboard space. Would stay again
- Wifi was quite pricey - No aircon
Excellent location seconds away from Karlsplatz, close to the city centre, very nice staff, friendly and helpful receptionist.
There is nothing to dislike except that the pillows are too soft.
Toilet was very bad Rooms are too small
Excellent location close to main tourist area
1- Poor breakfast 2- We were first allocated a room in 5th floor where there were works being done including drilling and hammering although we specifically requested a quiet room while making the reservation. Then were allocated a room in 2nd floor (non smoking) overlooking a shared internal terrace where the house keeping employees used as a rest place to smoke!!!! 3- Very expensive wifi Euro 12.5 a day when it should be free as most hotels do these days.
one of the satff (med night) was not polite, shouting to us in front of other guests in the front disk, he is apperantely racist.
Hotel ok, good value for money.
Last night lots of noise from a club next door. The hotel gave us a financial compensation.
Rooms spacious. Location convenient for touring. Parking easy. Taxi and metro at door.
Staff cold. Stinks of smoke and opening windows brings in greasy stench and a huge amount of noise. Breakfast acceptable but not exceptional and service unfriendly. Moths infested breakfast room. Bath towels and soap stingy.
The location was excellent near Karlsplatz, particularly with the underground only a few steps away. Room was spacious and bathroom appears to have been renovated recently. Staff was very friendly and cooperative.
Although housekeeping cleaned the room every day, I noticed the bedsheets were not changed regularly. I hope they do so in the future.
Location. The staff was great.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
Close to train station. Excellent value Friendly helpful staff Comfortable All needed amenities
Hotel staff was very nice and informative. Rooms were very clean. Bathroom was kept very clean. Street noise was not noticeable. Metro was very close. Felt safe in the hotel . The location was amazing
My room didn't come with an a/c remote, but the staff got me one when I requested
Located above the new underground carpark & all the transport links are at the door bus, tram, train & tube. Very friendly staff only too pleased to be of assistance. Hotel Daniel is right in the middle of the action walking distance to all the bars & restraints. Will be staying there next year. I lived in Munich for 13 years and this is ten place to stay
There was nothing to dislike
+ Central location + Nice staff + Value for money (about 60 Euro/night)
- Depressing rooms - Smelly carpets - No shower curtains - 2 star "Motel" called 3 star Hotel
close to downtown staff was ok
- I wasn't able to sleep because of noise coming in my room. A disco is just next to the hotel, and the sound just coming in the room making the sleep impossible. A Nightmare. Check it out if disco will be open when you will be there, otherwise is just not worth. - room was ok but not worth for the price
1min to subway station
room door is very tight, which is scratching the carpet on the corridor.
The ONLY thing I liked was how close it was to the U & S2- easy access to dachau.
The room smelled awful and carpet was wet when I walked in. The smell never went away. If you want wi-fi, it's €12.50 (about $17) a day! And it wasn't very good either- I had to log out and log in every time I lost signal. Ridiculous!!! The bed had just one thin single sheet on a mattress (and it was to even a fitted sheet), no mattress pad or any other type of protection for the mattress. Kind of gross when you think of it. The room was tiny, the bathroom unclean. Oh and there was construction starting at 9am- I felt bad for anyone that wanted to sleep in. Just awful. I've stayed in better hostels. This place is wayyyy over priced and should NOT be considered 3 stars.
location, friendly and helpful receptionist,
room too hot
The hotel was in a great location - walking distance from the city center. The rooms were clean and the hotel staff was pleasant.
The hotel did not offer free wifi or breakfast. For 30€ Less we were able to book room down the street (and closer to the train station) that included a wonderful breakfast, free wifi and the room was nearly twice the size. Hotel Daniel is on a major road so it is very noisy but I'm not sure you can find a quiet hotel in Munich... especially during the World Cup semi finals. :-)
Location, close to many points of interest
High price for the wifi connection
directly in city center and clean!
humuid room and no air conditioning!
The hotel was not conveniently located. It was difficult to find and was located on the first floor, up a flight of stairs. The reception/breakfast area was tiny and was also used for storage. The staff behind the desk, though helpful, did not speak English well enough to provide some basic information I required.
The toilet was not clean
