Days Inn Leipzig City Centre    

Convenient location about 15 mins walk from the Opera, Gewandhaus and city centre. Spacious and comfortable room and balcony. Helpful staff. Good, free internet.

It was located in a housing estate with no convenient food shops etc nearby. Despite the booking.com listing there is *very* limited parking onsite (3 spaces). There was lots of other parking nearby - but it did not seem too secure. (broken glass etc in evidence). Strange arrangement that the door facing the street was locked, and main access was via the housing estate (??).

Proximity to town centre, clean.

It looked like it was just taken over by Days Inn. It was hard to find (with a gps) because of size and location of hotel signs. Some of their facilities (bathroom and room finishes) needed updating to standard of units of similar price in East Germany.

Space was big. Very comfortable. Small kitchen was a good surprise. Staff was ver friendly.

Wifi needed pasword everytime we switched on our mobile device. Was a bit uncomfortable.

Good size rooms Very clean Close to town. Good facilities. i.e.Fridge & option to bring food in.

Decor could be a little updated. But price reflects good rooms. Kettle in each room would be good, especially as the English like there white tea.

Clean, no frills but adequate, reasonably priced.

Some traffic noise. Bit of a rush at breakfast.

Unfriendly staff. Outside of building looked like a rundown east german housing estate. Being hassled to give reception a copy of my passport which a refused to do. None of the other 14 West German hotels that we stayed in during this vacation, asked for a copy. Is this still a communist thing?. I thought that Leipzig was now part of Germany

Hard to find on foot! Average walk was 20+ mins from central train station and no signs from the street to tell you where it is (the house numbering does not follow in order with surrounding buildings). No air conditioning, was very hot at night. First night, no one was at front desk when I returned 0300--had to bang on door, wait 10 mins. Second day I overslept past my checkout and housekeeping barged in while I was in my underwear and yelled at me to get up! They didn't charge me a late checkout, but hardly professional. Overall, fair, would not recommend to others.

The room was very big, equipped with a fridge which was very useful in the hot weather. The hotel was very close to the centre of town, three tram stops from the Central Train Station. Very reasonably priced. The staff were brilliant, everything we were looking for!

Free parking. Location close to the city centre. 24-hours horel service at the entrance. Nice hiotel staff.

The main entrance was on the other side of the building than the parking places.

I think 'grand' is a misleading word in the title. It is also nowhere near the 'Zentrum'. These are the only two problems.

It was so close to the city center and to a great restaurant. Staff was very helpful. We also appreciated the bag lunch. Free Internet is always a plus.

La monotonie du buffet petit déjeuner. Nous avons eu 6 petits déjeuners strictement identiques, certes suffisants et de bonne qualité -heureusement - L'absence de rideaux occultant la lumière matinale. La variation des tarifs allant du simple au double en fonction d'évènements conjoncturels.

Aufzug war defekt, Frühstücksraum zu eng und zu laut.

Zentrale Lage, die City ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Öffentliche Parkplätze vor dem Haus und genügend........

Als ich bei Abreise meine Rechnung begleichen wollte mußte ich ewig diskutieren weil man mir meine 13 jährige Tochter extra berechnen wollte, obwohl Kinder bis 17 Jahre frei sind.Das Personal war maßlos mit der Situation überfordet und nach einem längeren Telefonat hat man schnell einen Schuldigen gefunden. bookingcom. hätte falsche Informationen weitergeleitet. Zum Ärger für mich, zur Information für Sie......

Anbindung an die Strassenbahn.

Gebuchtes Zimmer nicht verfügbar. Apartment erhalten.. Dies entsprach nicht unseren Vorstellungen. Küche vorhanden, aber verdreckt und riechend.

Kleinigkeiten recht teures Frühstück

War sehr schön, Von Hotelzimmer kann man nicht sprechen, es ist eine Hotelwohnung. Sauber freundlich und Zentrum nah. Werden das Hotel in Leipzig wieder buchen.
