The B&B is located above a wood carving store (no lift), in a great location, very close to center of town. Building is over 300 years old and facade decorated with murals called Luftmalereien, adding charm to the town. The hallways, stairs and rooms are all modernized, clean and comfortable. Shower, sink and commode are all new with no problems. The rooms come with a mini-fridge and are serviced daily by helpful and pleasant staff. Our room #12 had a shared balcony with a view of mountains with snow. Brigitta (Dedler) Haertle, was the inn keeper and very helpful with maps and information of area. Both gave us great info on getting to & around Munich on ring roads and the autobahns. She also gave us an Kur-und Gastekarte, good for free and reduced price admissions to attractions in the area. The breakfast room is downstairs and taken care of by Ewald Haertle, who remembers what you drank, even provided ice upon request, and replenishes the food as needed. The delicious breakfast (cold buffet), is very good with a nice selection of fruit, cheese, ham, yoghurt, nuts, cereal, etc and fresh bread. He also gave us a parking pass for street parking. Ewald and his brother-in-law did the woodcarvings displayed for sale and his sister did the painting of them. The inn gave a 10% discount on any store item, which we used. We would definitely stay again in the Pension Dedlerhaus.
