A good position, close to the metro and in a quiet street. The staff were quite helpful.
Very old, and the room was so tiny you could hardly swing a cat. The website says that parking is available on the premises, but our hire vehicle, a Mercedes van, wouldn't fit underneath as the ceiling was too low and the entry too narrow on the curve. Unfortunately parking on the street was not an option as road works were being undertaken at the time.
Some staff were helpful. Asked for a room on an upper floor and got it.
Some staff were unhelpful. Thought the extra daily charge for using the room safe was a bit mean and out of sync with other hotels. Bathroom needs an update. Given a room on 6th floor. Lift only travelled to 5th floor, I assume we were given the 6th floor room as we booked on a discount offered by Booking.com. However, I would stay there again in the future.
Hotel Delta am Potsdamer Platz 15 mins walk from Potsdamer Platz so not too far. Good price including not bad breakfast.
Rather basic standard, room never refurbished, old furniture. There was no radiator in the room. Maybe there was floor heating but I could not find where to adjust it and it was cold.
Relatively well situated ; Not very high price ;
Lack of aeration in the room; very hot even without heating ; you can try to sleep with a open window (end of october! ); the control knob of the heating on the wall is a pure decoration ; Dilapidated furniture ; the soft mattress - to be changed ; The breakfast consists of down-market products of supermarket ; The room for luggages is in the parking ; Non professional staff at the reception ; How it is possible that so-and-so hotel has three stars ? !
Working Wifi, Nice breakfast buffet
The rudest and most bored reception of my life. The reception lady made me twice in my 3days stay to ask her kindly change her attitude
I have stayed at this hotel many times and it gives good value for money and includes free breakfast and wifi in the rate. Rooms are very well maintanined and the staff are always very helpful.
They use those typical European style feather pillows that just go flat when you rest your head on them.
Great location, because it is very close to a metro station Breakfast is ok. In general this location is ok to stay for a couple of days if you don't need luxery Good return for the money
Beds and pillows are outdated, not comfortable even as the hotel it self, it was noisy
The location, close to everything in Berlin center
The room was bigger than what we expected! Actually huge for three guys. The bathroom was quite big too. Everything fine even if the furniture was pretty "basic" and "rough", but it is understandable stated the convenient price (in a city like Berlin).
Cleaning was not great. The bathroom had no windows opening on the outside, so there was a fan, but it didn't work! We asked for repairing it to the reception but they did nothing.
Parking for motor count 20 eur, which is usurious.
Bad Internet connection Very small room Expensive parking
For a short stay it has a very good location.
Quiet, near the center.
Three rooms in the basement were opening with the same key. Someone opened our room, while we were inside.
The breakfast was so complete and good quality.
The bedroom didn't have air condition. It was so warm. Toilet had dust and was not enough cleaned. Location is very convenient because it is 100 meters from the train station.
Hotel had a secure car park and was close to central Berlin. Busses and metro close by. Breakfast was good and the showers were good.
The beds were a bit hard and pillows lifeless. Both are due for replacement. Saturday night was noisy from streets. Sunday night was not as bad.
The staff was really polite and helpful.
Hotel was nice, and it was close to city center, very near to metro station and had lots of cafes and shops near it.
Even though hotel was not-smoked, my room smelled like tobacco. Toilet was smelly too.
Very good location and services, spacious room and nice breakfast. Very good return for the money. We highly recommend this hotel. Staff were very nice and friendly.
Some equipment was missing in the room such as a little kattle for coffee or tea and a comfortable chair. Tv screen is too small. Blankets are too short and the pillows are way too soft so we had to ask for extra pair.
All we needed was a simple little time out into a different environment and it worked for us. Never expect much, the price was just right and enough for our expectation and budget. Thanks alot and definitely be going back :)
Not much smiley faces around :(
The breakfast was OK.
The female receptionist was arrogant. The bathroom was so smelly. The wifi password is effective only for 3 hrs so needed to go back to the reception every 3 hrs to get the new password. It was terribly troublesome.
the area is comfortable. There are many supermarkets and backreis nearby. It is quiet.
Although it is near a u-bahn station, you have to transfer several times if you want to get to famous sight-seeings. The effect of sound-proofing is bad that you can hear others' opening and closing doors clearly; even the sound of toilette-flushing upstairs! Besides the toilette smells bad.:(
Hotel Delta is a small hotel but good value for Berlin with included breakfast and free wifi. Rooms are decent size and bathrooms are very clean and bright.
distance undergroung car parking
older beds no restaurant in hotel
We received 1 internet voucher for 24hr + 1 for 3h at arrival the first day. Second day we had to argue to receive 4 pieces of 3h vouchers which made us fairly upset as it says on booking.com that WiFi is included and you shouldn't need to visit them at reception every 3rd hour. Last day I had to take a proper fight with the staff (whom were rude enough to ask why I needed 24hr voucher instead of 3hr ones and run down to reception begging for more) before we could receive 2 pieces of 24h vouchers for each of us. * Rude/unfriendly staff * Old furnishment * Old carpeted rooms (which made me cough + allergic reactions )
