Have stayed at this hotel at least 4 times. You cannot beat the price, and the excellent breakfast well worth its Euro 9. It's location is near to the Munich main Railroad Station, yet just 1/2 block to the ring around the old town and more sympathico in neighborhood than the typical rail road station hotels on Schiller and Goethe Streets. It has Turkish food markets and modest neighborhood food places and practical shops around and is, by my experience, very safe. Very convenient to shopping and transportation.I Would always stay there again. It's a no fuss, but warm little hotel, if needy of renovation in halls and rooms. But heat is good, windows nicely sound proofed. A very decent choice all around. I find that it is in need of renovation as to wall-coverings, carpets and furniture, but then the prices would go up. I have not seen a renovation in years. The shower heads in all these tourist hotels, as here, are needy.

The hotel is located close to the center, it is easy to find it. The room was clean, the breakfast was good. There are many not expensive arabian places to eat near the hotel. It was good value for money. However, the hotel is pretty simple, especially the reception area including the breakfast area, it probably needs a bit of renovation.

Stuff was friendly and nice. The cleaning was good, but the room was so disheveled, that it was hard to notice the cleaning. Poor, old room, old bed linen. Room smells very bad all the time, there was need to keep the window open always.

Spacious rooms, free internet. Quite large minibar. Double room for single use/single room-price. Close to the centralstation. Several old stains on the walls and carpet (but other than that, the room was clean). The free internet was slow and went on and off all the time - the reception told me that some rooms have bad connection, but they were willing to let me change room. Friendly staff!

Great location and price. 10 minute walk to the Wiesen or downtown. Even closer to the Bahn and buses. Very friendy and helpful recepcionists who spoke very good English. No breakfast included. We had a room facing the main street so it got very noisy at night. And since there was no ac, if we closed the windows it got very hot in the room. Can be remedied by asking for an inside room.

Location is quite central, quiet street, decent value for money, hotel is quite old but clean. I wouldn't stay there with a girlfriend, but if alone - quite decent. Hotel is quite worn out, though kept in a good shape

The breakfasts were excellent, full of variety and plentiful. the room was very hot, therefore had to keep the windows open, which then made it very noisy - a small fan would have been very helpful

Great location!!! It seemed that there was no air-conditioning, very hot and stuffy which required the windows to be open (and noise from the street below was distracting)

Walking distance from the Main Central Station and Oktoberfest. The staff spoke English and were very nice. Not the best area of town. Hotel needs deep cleaning and updating.

The receptionist was very helpful in giving directions and explaining things to both see and do. As it was raining on day I arrived, I asked for umbrella and the receptionist was very efficient in providing one for me. The Hotel was very central for Octoberfest which is the reason I came to Munich, however it also proved very close to underground and tram stations also, which makes it very easy to see all the places of interest you wish within easy reach of transport systems. This hotel had a very welcoming reception area and breakfasts were good. I would stay at this hotel again, should I ever return to Munich. Room was rather small for a double bed which made room rather cramped. Although my room was in reasonable repair, the hallway was a bit run down and in need of repainting.

It was close to the Munich city center and reasonably priced during the Octoberfest celebration. The room was small (for 3 adults)...but it was difficult to find anything in this price range so close to the city center and Oktoberfest grounds during Oktoberfest. They held our bags for free after we checked out so we could go enjoy more sights in Munich before leaving town. We only stayed one night...it was acceptable for what we needed. Rooms were small, cramped quarters, but the bathroom was pretty big.
