Die Hirschgasse Heidelberg  

This hotel was an inn in 1497 so there is much history there The room was lovely. We stayed in the "Rosen Suite" which was comfortable and spacious. The meals we had there were very good. We ate in the traditional food room not the gourmet. The housekeeping was irregular. English was spoken. The front desk staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Frankly I was disappointed and expected more for a hotel that is one of the "small wonderful hotels of the world". It is a 10 minute walk to the town if you walk very very fast.

Housekeeping was not what you would expect. They did not speak any English so it was hard to tell them what was needed done

The location of hotel is very good. It's within walking distance of the old center of the city, but very peaceful. The history of the hotel is very interesting, though it's mainly apparent in the restaurant area downstairs. Easily reached by bus from the train station, and the staff was very helpful.

There was construction happening around the hotel that made it not as quiet in the morning as you would hope, based on its location.

The quality of the Suite

Access was a problem due to extensive long-term roadworks and we wasted much time trying to find a route to the hotel. This could have been avoided if they had advised us of the problem in advance

The staff is congenial, knowledgeable and professional. Doubtlessly the retaurants would be excellent but extremely expensive.

Location - difficult to reach and far away from everything. Needs complete re-decoration, looks as it if had been done by an elderly dowager in the fifties (1950' s that is). No airconditioning, no idea how anyone stands it in Summer. Tv is of the old cathode ray tube style and not visible from bed. The breakfast buffet is priced at 21 Euros and excepting some rare dondition where they bring it to you in bed and feed it to you, there is no way that there is any value in 21 Euros for breakfast.

sehr erholsam bei sehr anstrengender Geschäftsreise. Kein zeitverlust, um in den Seminarpausen entlang des schönen Philosophenweges oberhalb des Hotels gleich im und am Waldrand mit Blick auf Alt-Heidelberg zu lustwandeln. Kein zeitverlust, um gleich unterhalb des Hotels über die Alte Brücke, historisch, in der schönen Altstadt zu bummeln, zu shoppen und Cfe zutrinken und dabei Leute zu sehnen. Das schöne weiche bett mit vielen angenehm kuscheligen und sauber weissen Kissen, dass schön warm war bei der kalten Witterung und dass ich nicht erst auf die Suche gehen musste, um nach anstrengendem Seminar gut und in einem schönen Ambiente gourmetmässig zu tafeln.

dass der whirlpool im badezimmer auf einer Düse nicht getan hat und dass in der wanne beim Wassereinlassen Partikel herumschwammen.

Mitarbeiter sind super geschult, Gemütliche schöne Einrichtung

Es ist nicht nur das älteste Hotel von Heidelberg, es hat offensichtlich auch die ältesten TV-Geräte. Sehr bedienungsunfreundlich. Die Sitzmöbel im Wohnraum der Suite waren unbequem, da kann man keinen ganzen Abend verbringen.Der Preis für das Früstück war mit 21,- EUR pro Tag und Person u. E. nicht angemessen. Das Personal war z. T. sehr unpersönlich, ein Mitarbeiter hat auch am dritten Tag gemeint, wir wären neue Gäste - bei so einem kleinen Hotel sollte man sich die paar Gäste merken können.

Le calme, la situation géographique et le passé historique de l'hôtel

Романтичный отель с красивыми номерами и антикварной мебелью, вид из окон на Гейдельбергский замок. Чтобы попасть в исторический пешеходный центр, нужно просто перейти мост. Рядом начинается "Тропа философов", с которой открываются фантастические виды на город. Ресторан недешевый, но с отличной кухней.

Staff molto cortese e camera ampia ed accogliente. Zona molto silenziosa sulla riva del fiume. Ambiente ricercato.

Si può arrivare a piedi in centro città, ma visogna essere buoni camminatori.
