Our restaurant menu offers regional as well as international dishes. A seasonal menu is always added to showcase regional fresh products (i.e. fish, asparagus, game, goose).
The extensive wine list boasts a wide variety of local wines from the Rhine, Moselle and Ahr regions.
The hotel cellars are part of the old castle fortifications which guarantees a constant temperature in summer and in winter.
Shaped like a ship´s hull with a dominant bow and the two beer pumps resembling a capstan the bar with. lamps, chairs and sails that cover the ceiling will give you that ‘cruising feeling’.
There are three modern lifts to take you and your luggage to your rooms in comfort and ease.
The sporty ones may certainly avail themselves of the spacious stair cases.

Very smart, very clean, excellent restaurant. Arrived at night so we awoke to a magnificent view of the Rhine. The route to the entrance is not immediately apparent particularly at night after a long drive. Railway line runs down the back of the hotel however this did not affect us at the front |

the location, staff, hotel. rooms are all excellent - brilliant hotel - fairly priced. I think if you saw this hotel by just driving past you would probably give it a miss - it doesn't look much from the outside....... the inside and outside are completely mismatched, don't be put off - I'd definitely stay there again. |

The food in the restaurant was excellent as was our service there. The hotel had an excellent view of the river and was easy to get to with a taxi from the train station. Staff was very helpful and kind. The rooms are too hot to rest well during this hot July month and if you have the windows open you have bugs and noise of the river and walking traffic. The really need to have air conditioning for these few hot months. |

the view across the river, the ferry, the visit of Koblenz the soup and the main course served on 19.06. to our groupe (Webendoerfer) - were tasteless, only the desert was good, the price of 33 Euros excessive. On 20.06. we had filet de porc in a thick brownish sauce which was no good either. This is by no means what one expects from a gourmet's hotel. The pillows were impossible, the bath tub (room 105) slippery, dangerous for old people. |

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the room was delightful. I felt the hotel management was VERY unrealistic in pricing the Internet. Twelve Euros for one hour is obscene. |

We had plenty of space with a beautiful view of the Rhine. The room had been recently decorated and the placing of electric sockets, lighting and furniture had been well planned. One could not avoid the sound of trains in the hotel. It did not worry us but miht disturb some people. |
