Diehl`s Hotel is located on the banks of the River Rhine in Koblenz-Ehrenbreitstein and is the very 1st house in the newly designated World Cultural Heritage Site “Middle Rhine Valley”.

Directly opposite lies the famous “Deutsches Eck” (or “German Corner”) where the rivers Rhine and Moselle meet, the basilica St Kastor, the Palace of Koblenz, the beautifully restored Old Town and the departure piers of various sightseeing ships. All of these are just across the Rhine from the hotel.

Apart from the new conference centre “Ehrenbreitstein” we offer a further 6 seminar rooms for your needs. Five of them enjoy the magnificent river view and all are, of course, equipped with modern technology.
The landscaped banks of the River Rhine provide an ideal location for your breaks from conference activities

Food & beverage

Four indoor rooms (Deutsches Eck Salon, Terrasse, Panorama) are always seasonably decorated and available to guests. On a nice day you might enjoy to relax outside on the new Rhine Terrace, literally right above the river.
Our restaurant menu offers regional as well as international dishes. A seasonal menu is always added to showcase regional fresh products (i.e. fish, asparagus, game, goose).
The extensive wine list boasts a wide variety of local wines from the Rhine, Moselle and Ahr regions.
The hotel cellars are part of the old castle fortifications which guarantees a constant temperature in summer and in winter.

Shaped like a ship´s hull with a dominant bow and the two beer pumps resembling a capstan the bar with. lamps, chairs and sails that cover the ceiling will give you that ‘cruising feeling’.

Room information

All our rooms offer shower or bath and WC and are equipped with a hair dryer, beauty mirror, minibar, self-dial telephone, satellite-TV.
There are three modern lifts to take you and your luggage to your rooms in comfort and ease.
The sporty ones may certainly avail themselves of the spacious stair cases.

Good 4 star hotel at a fair price. Located across the Rhine River from Koblenz. There is a small pedestrian ferry very close to the hotel which goes across the river to Koblenz...good location.

It would be nice if breakfast was included in the room price.

The room was excellent, well decorated and clean. It was away from the main corridor and quiet with regards to noise from other guests.

It was noisy outside with barges, trains, refuse collection and grass cutting.

Amazing views - loved watching the boats come and go. The boat taxi across the Rhine to Deutches Eck etc was a fab service. Enjoyed the pool with the children although it is only small.

it was close to the city free parking

they did not inform us there was a wedding dinner in one of the conference rooms which meant we could not use the terrace or bar saturday night
